Abstract

 本発明は、流路に機能性膜を形成するとともに、樹脂製のマイクロチップ基板同士を接合することが可能なマイクロチップの製造方法を提供するもの。この製造方法は、表面に流路用溝11が形成されたマイクロチップ基板10と、表面に流路用溝21が形成されたマイクロチップ基板20のそれぞれ流路用溝11、21が形成されている面に、機能性膜であるSiO2膜12、22を形成する第1工程と、マイクロチップ基板10、20の流路用溝11、21に形成されたSiO2膜以外のSiO2膜を粘着部材によって剥離する第2工程と、流路用溝11、21が形成された面を内側にしてマイクロチップ基板10、20を重ね、レーザ溶着、超音波溶着、又は熱圧着によって基板同士を接合する第3工程と、を有することを特徴とする。
