Abstract

本発明は、複数のコアと、コアの外周に設けられたクラッドを有し、コアの屈折率が、コア断面の幾何重心からコア外周に向かって連続的に低下するポリマー並列光導波路である。本発明のポリマー並列光導波路は、複数のコアを有し、高密度化されている。更に、本発明のポリマー並列光導波路の伝送損失、パルス信号広がり及びクロストークは小さく、高速処理が要求される今後のコンピューティングの光インターコネクションとして使用され得る。
