Abstract

　イオン伝導性を示す固体電解質膜を、燃料を酸化する燃料極触媒層と、酸素を還元する空気極触媒層とで挟むことにより、膜電極接合体が形成される。燃料供給部が燃料を貯蔵すると共に、燃料極触媒層に燃料を供給する。酸素輸送路を通って、外部から空気極触媒層へ酸素が供給される。ある温度以上になると、遮断部材が酸素輸送路を塞ぐ。
