Abstract

 最尤復号装置において、アンダーサンプリングが発生した時には、セレクタ205~207は、ブランチメトリック算出部202~204からのブランチメトリックを選択せず、「0」値を選択し、パスメトリック算出部208は、前記セレクタ205~207の「0」値に基づいてパスメトリックを算出すると共にパス選択信号を算出する。前記ブランチメトリック算出部202~204に入力される最尤復号対象の入力信号wsdt_dは、前記セレクタ205~207が「0」値を選択するアンダーサンプリング発生時を考慮して、その発生時に相当するクロック数分、遅延された信号に調整される。従って、アンダーサンプリング発生時にも正しい復号結果が得られて、正常動作が確保される。
