Abstract

　毛髪画像表示方法が、毛髪画像から毛髪領域を選択し、毛髪領域にエッジ検出を行ってエッジ画像を算出し、エッジ画像に代表処理を行って代表値画像を算出し、エッジ画像と代表値画像との方向差を算出し、各画素の方向差をカラー画像化又は濃淡画像化して方向差画像を表示するか、エッジ方向画像における各画素の相関長をカラー画像化又は濃淡画像化して毛髪の束幅画像を表示するか、エッジ方向画像において各画素の曲率を求め、曲率画像を形成する工程を含む。これにより、毛髪のスタイリングにおいて、流れから外れた向きや、同じ流れにある毛髪の束や、カールの状態をわかりやすく表示し、毛髪のスタイリングを容易に評価できるようにする。
