Abstract

 ディスク6の対象層からの反射光が円筒レンズ7および凸レンズ8により形成する前側焦線より前の位置、後ろの位置に、それぞれ分割型波長板10a、分割型偏光子11aが配置されている。分割型波長板10aは、それぞれを透過した光の偏光方向が互いに直交する2つの領域に分割されている。分割型偏光子11aはそれぞれが透過させる光の偏光方向が互いに直交している2つの領域に分割されている。ディスク6の対象層からの反射光は分割型偏光子11aを透過して光検出器12へ入射するが、ディスク6の非対象層からの反射光は分割型偏光子11aで反射されて光検出器12へ入射しない。
