Abstract

 鉛レス黄銅合金における耐応力腐食割れ性を向上させることにあり、具体的には、黄銅合金における腐食割れの進行速度を抑制することにより、鉛レス黄銅合金特有の直線的な割れを食い止め、結晶粒界に存在するγ相に割れが接触する確率を高めると共に、黄銅表面の局部的な腐食を防ぎ、この腐食による亀裂を抑制し、もって、耐応力腐食割れ性の向上に寄与できる鉛レス黄銅合金を提供すること。  本発明は、鉛レス黄銅合金であって、Snを含有したBi系、Snを含有したBi+Sb系またはSnを含有したBi+Se+Sb系で、かつ、α+γ組織、或は、α+β+γ組織を有する黄銅合金であり、この黄銅合金中におけるγ相を所定の割合で均一に分散させることにより、局部的な腐食を抑制し、応力腐食割れの発生を抑制する耐応力腐食割れ性に優れた鉛レス黄銅合金である。
