Abstract

　車両運転者に所定地点通過時刻が基準時刻と比べて早いか遅いかを通知する運転支援装置が、自車両位置を検出し、検出された位置とその位置の通過時刻とを関連付けて記憶すると共に、自車両が常用経路を走行していると判断されたときには、自車両が当該常用経路上の所定の地点を通過したときにそのときの通過時刻が過去の通過時刻と比較して早いか遅いかを自車両運転者に通知する。上記所定の地点から上記常用経路における目的地までの間の渋滞情報を取得し、自車両が上記所定の地点を通過したときに併せて自車両運転者に通知する。
