Abstract

 切れ刃が複数個のスローアウェイチップで構成されるスローアウェイドリルを、安定した性能が発揮されて入口穴径、出口穴径の精度が向上し、穴出口のばりの発生も抑制されるようにすることを課題としている。  ドリル本体1の先端に、中心刃8と外周刃9を構成するスローアウェイチップ5-1,5-2を装着し、中心刃8の切削負担量Aと外周刃9の切削負担量Bの割合を、中心刃の方が大きくなるように設定し、スローアウェイチップ5-2を5-1よりも軸方向前方に突出させてワークに対する食いつきが外周刃9の外端コーナ部9aから起こるようにした。
