Abstract

 EER技術もしくはET技術を適用する電力増幅器において、振幅変調成分及び位相変調成分を含む、入力信号である変調波信号から振幅変調成分を抽出し、該振幅変調成分を、積の値が該振幅変調成分と比例する2つの制御信号に分解する。そして、一方の制御信号は、高効率なアンプで増幅した後、RFアンプ出力の振幅変調に用い、他方の制御信号は、パルス変調器により矩形波信号に変換した後、位相変調成分または変調波信号とミキシングしてRFアンプへ入力する。
