Abstract

 ガラス基板に歪みや傷の生じない保持治具、記録媒体用ガラス基板の製造方法、記録媒体用ガラス基板及び記録媒体を提供する。保持冶具は、ガラス基板の外周端部の2カ所が面取り加工されており、該面取り加工後の2つの加工面のなす角度をθ2とした時、支持部材の溝の角度θ1がθ2<θ1<170°の範囲である。
