Abstract

　所定のセル２の開口端部（セル開口端部７）に、スラリー用分散媒を含有する目封止用スラリー６を充填した後に焼成することにより、目封止部１５が形成された目封止ハニカム構造体３０を製造する方法である。端面１１にマスク用フィルム４を貼付する貼付工程と、マスク用フィルム４の所定のセル開口端部７に対応する部分に孔３を開ける穿孔工程と、所定のセル開口端部７における隔壁１０に、スラリー用分散媒に溶解可能な相溶成分を一種以上含有する塗布剤２０を塗布した後、マスク用フィルム４が貼付された端面１１を目封止用スラリー６に浸漬して、所定のセル開口端部７に目封止用スラリー６を充填する充填工程とを含む。
