Abstract

 変形、破損等の不具合の発生を抑制しつつ、より短時間でハニカム成形体を乾燥することが可能なハニカム成形体の乾燥方法を提供する。セラミックス原料、水、及びバインダーを含有する原料組成物からなる、隔壁によって区画された流体の流路となる複数のセルを有する未焼成のハニカム成形体を乾燥する方法であって、ハニカム成形体を水蒸気により予熱した後、電磁波乾燥する。
