Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents and packing method using the same, and more particularly, to a variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents, which has a variable means formed at an end thereof so as to allow the pressure resistant packing to be performed continuously, and also to form a space for preventing overflow of the liquefied contents when opening the vessel and adding sauce, garnish and the like on the solid contents, and a packing method using the same.
  • liquefied contents is herein defined as any substance, such as water and oil, which can be flowed freely and its shape is variously changed corresponding to a vessel in which the liquefied contents are filled, due to its unfixed shape, and also of which a volume is hardly changed even under pressure.
  • solid contents is defined as any substance which includes a hard thing having a definite shape and volume and a fluent solid substance, i.e. a semisolid substance, such as jelly and bean curd, which contains the liquefied contents and thus has fluidity and adhesion.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a variable vessel which has a variable means so as to be deformed by an external and internal pressure, and a packing method in which the vessel is previously deformed and then the contents are filled, thereby improving stability and productivity through a pressure resistant packing process which can be performed continuously.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents and a packing method using the same, which can prevent overflow of the liquefied contents and add easily sauce, garnish and the like on solid contents by a space formed at an upper side of the filled contents and also prevent undesirable deformation of the variable means during distribution of a product.
  • variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents which comprises a variable means which is integrally formed at a side of the vessel and by which an internal volume of the vessel can be changed.
  • a packing method using a variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents comprising (i) an internal volume reducing step in which a variable means of the vessel is depressed inside the vessel and thus an internal volume of the vessel is reduced, (ii) a contents filling step in which the solid or liquefied contents are fully filled in the vessel having the reduced internal volume, (iii) a sealing step in which an upper portion of the vessel which is fully filled with the contents is sealed tightly with a lid film, and (iv) a protruding step in which a pressure is applied to the upper portion of the vessel sealed with the lid film and thus the variable means is protruded outside the vessel.
  • variable means is formed at a lower surface of the vessel so as to be depressed inside or protruded outside the vessel by external pressure or internal pressure.
  • the variable means is designed to have a multistage structure or a rounded structure.
  • the variable means has an inclined angle between an extended line formed by horizontally extending a protruded peak portion of the variable means and a connecting line formed by connecting the protruded peak portion and an end of the vessel, which is set at 14°.
  • the variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents further comprises a supporting means which prevents undesirable deformation of the variable means due to external impact during distribution of the vessel and also supports the vessel on a surface easily.
  • Figs. 1 to 7 are cross-sectional views showing a packing processing of liquefied contents using a variable vessel according to an embodiment of the present invention.

  • variable vessel 10 shows a structure of the variable vessel 10 and the packing processes using the variable vessel 10.
  • the variable vessel for pressure resistant packing of solid or liquefied contents includes a variable means 12 and a supporting means 11.
  • the variable means 12 is constructed to be depressed inside and protruded outside the vessel 10 by external and internal pressure, and integrally formed at a bottom surface of the vessel 10.
  • an inclined angle between an extended line formed by horizontally extending a protruded peak portion of the variable means 12 and a connecting line formed by connecting the protruded peak portion and an end of the vessel 10 can be set to have various values.
  • the angle is set at 14°.
  • variable means 12 can be designed to have a multistage structure. However, it may be also designed to have various structures like a rounded structure.
  • the supporting means 11 is formed along a circumference of the bottom surface of the vessel, and functions to prevent the variable means 12 from being undesirably deformed by external impact during distribution of the vessel and also to support the vessel 10 so as to be easily and stably placed on a surface.
  • FIG. 15 is a flow chart showing the packing processes of Figs. 1 to 7 and Figs. 8 to
  • variable vessel 10 of the present invention includes the variable means 12 and the supporting means 11.
  • the packing method using the variable vessel 10, as shown in Fig. 15, includes (i) an internal volume reducing step, (ii) a contents filling step, (iii) a sealing step and (iv) a protruding step.
  • variable means 12 In order to reduce the internal volume of the vessel 10 by previously and inwardly deforming the variable means 12, various means such as hydraulic pressure, pneumatic pressure and the like may be applied. However, for stability upon the deforming process and regular deformation of the variable means 12, it is preferable that a lower press-down portion A is made of a material having a higher hardness than the variable means 12 and a desired pressure is mechanically applied so as to deform the variable means 12 using the lower press-down portion A.
  • the liquefied contents 20 or solid contents 30 are fully filled in the vessel 10 having the reduced internal volume.
  • an upper press-down portion B is made of a material having a desired hardness which can deform the lid film 13 and the contents 20, 30 and a desired pressure is mechanically applied so as to deform the variable means 12 using the upper press-down portion B so that the lid film 13 is not damaged.
  • variable vessel of the present invention As shown in Figs. 6 and 13, in the variable vessel of the present invention, which is packed through each of the steps, the lid film 13 is contacted with the liquefied contents 20 or the solid contents 30 by the internal pressure, and the variable means 12 is protruded downward.
  • the supporting means 11 formed along the circumference of the lower bottom surface of the vessel 10 it is prevented that the variable means 12 is undesirably deformed by the external impact during the distribution of the product and also it is possible to easily stand the vessel 10 on a surface.
  • the space S is correspondent to a width from a state that the variable means 12 is depressed inside the vessel 10 to a state that the variable means 12 is protruded outside the vessel 10. Since the contents 20, 30 are fully filled in the vessel 10 where the variable means 12 is depressed inside the vessel 10, in this case, the variable means 12 is protruded again outside the vessel 10, the space corresponding to the width is formed at upper side of the contents 20, 30. Further, since the variable means 12 is restored in a state that the vessel 10 is sealed with the lid film 13, the lid film 13 is partially contacted with the liquefied contents 20 or the solid contents 30 by the internal pressure.
  • the stability and productivity are increased. Further, by the space formed at upper side of the contents, it is prevented that the liquefied contents are overflowed and also it is possible to easily add sauce, garnish and the like on the solid contents, when opening the vessel. In addition, by the supporting means, it is prevented that the variable means is undesirably deformed by the external impact during the distribution of the product.
