Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung und Untersuchung biologischer Proben mit Temperaturgesteuerten biologischen Reaktionen. Sie umfasst: Eine Reaktionskammer (5) zur Aufnahme eines Biochips (6). Die Reaktionskammer weist zumindest ein transparentes Fenster (14) auf, damit Anregungslicht von außen auf den Biochip (6) gestrahlt werden kann und Fluoressenzlicht vom Biochip nach außen zu einer Messeinrichtung abgestrahlt werden kann. Eine Membran, die zumindest eine Wandung der Reaktionskammer bildet und elastisch ausgebildet ist, so dass das Fenster und der Biochip aneinander drückbar sind, um dazwischen befindliche Probenlösung zu verdrängen. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Reaktionskammer kommunizierend mit einem Ausgleichsraum verbunden ist. Hierdurch werden in der Reaktionskammer vorbestimmte Druckverhältnisse geschaffen, die zum einen das Verdrängen der Probenlösung vereinfachen und zum anderen die Blasenbildung in der Probenlösung bei hohen Temperaturen verhindern.
