Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ensemble permettant de produire une pièce à extrémité filetée prête à l'emploi par un utilisateur final, comprenant une tige filetée et un outil. Ladite tige filetée est pourvue d'un filetage de vis externe et de zones de rupture disposées à une distance régulière les unes des autres, ces distances déterminant une longueur d'extrémité filetée de base. Ledit outil comprend un orifice ou un passage à travers lequel une partie de la tige filetée peut être insérée ou introduite jusqu'à une zone de rupture choisie, ainsi qu'un dispositif de rupture destiné à exercer un couple sur une tige filetée de base, une première force du couple étant exercée sur la zone de rupture choisie pour séparer une extrémité filetée de la tige filetée présentant un nombre souhaité de longueurs d'extrémité filetée de base.
