  • a through hole 302 is formed in the stop arm 300 so as to correspond to and aligned with the threaded hole 208.
  • the outer sides of the two arm portions 303 of the stop arm 300 are parallel to the two second side surfaces 209 of the brake member 200.
  • the screw 400 passes through the through hole 302 of the stop arm 300 and then is screwed into the threaded hole 208.
  • a width between the two second side surfaces 209 is larger than that between the two first side surfaces 206, in other words, the second side surfaces 209 is further away from a longitudinal axis of the brake member 200 than the first side surfaces 206.
  • the bail 600 comprises a rod body 601 having a substantially circular cross-section, a columnar cam portion 603, an arm portion 602 extended from one end of the rod body 601, and a handle 604 formed at a distal end of the arm portion 602.
  • the rod body 601 is to be received in the open grooves 105 and the columnar cam portion 603 is to be contacted with a first end surface 204 of the brake member 200.
  • the columnar cam portion 603 is protruded from a substantially middle portion of the rod body 601 and an axis X2 of the columnar cam portion 603 is offset from an axis Xl of the rod body 601.
  • Both ends of the columnar cam portion 603 are connected to the rod body 601 via two extension portions 603a and 603b, and the arm portion 602 is extended from one outer end of the rod body 601 in a direction opposite to the direction in which the columnar cam portion 603 is projected from the rod body 601, as shown in Fig. 1.
  • the rod body 601 of the bail 600 is rotatably received in and supported by the open grooves 105 of the base 100,. as shown in Figs. 3 and 6.
  • the shell 700 is formed with catching grooves 701 at sides thereof.
  • the catching grooves of the shell 700 will be engaged with catching hooks 106 formed on the base 100 such that the shell 700 is fitted over and fixed to the base 100.

  • the brake member 200 is pushed by the spring 500, so that the first end surface 204 (right end surface in Figs. 1-3 and 5) contacts and is tangential to the columnar surface of the columnar cam portion 603.

  • the opto-electronic module is pushed into a metal shielding cage (not shown) such that a projecting block formed on the bottom surface of the horizontal slide slot 103 adjacent to the second end (left end in Fig. 1) of the horizontal slide slot 103 is interlocked with a catching hole (not shown) formed in the metal shielding cage.
  • the optical fiber connector can be inserted or extracted at any time, and the single-arm bail will not affect and interfere with the insertion and extraction of the optical fiber connector.
  • the optical fiber connector is extracted from the opto-electronic module, then the bail 600 is rotated from the start position shown in Fig. 6 to the finish position shown in Fig. 7, and the projecting portions 210 of the brake member 200 push up the metal shielding cage, thereby the unlocking of the opto-electronic module is achieved.
  • the more detailed operation of unlocking the opto-electronic module is further described as follows.
  • the handle 604 of the bail 600 is pulled up such that the rod body 601 of the bail 600 is caused to rotate in the open grooves 105 of the base 100.
  • the columnar cam portion 603 of the bail 600 pushes against the first end surface 204 of the brake member 200 so that the brake member 200 is pushed rightward in Figs. 6 and 7. Due to the pushing force of the spring 500, the columnar cam portion 603 always contacts the first end surface 204 during the process of unlocking.
  • the bail 600 When the bail 600 is rotated to a position where the columnar cam portion 603 contacts a top surface of the boss 205 of the brake member 200, the bail 600 reaches the finish position. At this time, the two arm portions 303 of the stop arm 300 can still block the rod body 601 of the bail 600 such that the bail 600 is always engaged in the open grooves 105 during the unlocking. The compression amount of the spring 500 at the finish position reaches its maximum value, therefore, returning (restoration) of the bail 600 to the start position becomes easy.
  • the handle 604 of the bail 600 is released, so that the spring 500 is released, and the brake member 200 is pushed leftward in Figs. 6 and 7.
  • the columnar cam portion 603 of the bail 600 is pushed by the first end surface 204, then the bail 600 is rotated backward until the arm portion 602 of the bail contacts the first end surface of the base 100, that is, the bail 600 reaches the start position.

Abstract

Un dispositif de déverrouillage pour module opto-électronique comprend une base (100) possédant une fente de coulisseau horizontal (103) et une paire d'encoches ouvertes (105), un frein (200) destiné à être ajusté dans la fente de coulisseau horizontal (103), une vis (400), une potence à vis (300) destinée à être fixée sur le frein (200) au moyen de la vis (400), un ressort destiné à être situé dans la fente de coulisseau horizontal (103), un étrier (600) destiné à être reçu dans les encoches ouvertes (105), et une coque (700) à ajuster sur la base (100), un premier degré (103a) à une surface de fond du coulisseau horizontal (103) de sorte que la surface de fond de la fente de coulisseau horizontal soit divisée en une première partie de surface de fond (101) et une seconde partie de surface de fond (102), une entaille (104) s'étend du premier degré (103a) dans la première partie de surface de fond (101) de façon qu'une extrémité du ressort soit située dans cette entaille et que l'autre extrémité mette sous charge un second degré (203) formé au fond du frein (200).
