Abstract

L'invention concerne une fibre synthétique, en particulier une fibre synthétique pour une utilisation dans une pelouse artificielle. L'invention concerne également une pelouse artificielle comprenant une telle fibre synthétique. Selon l'invention, la fibre synthétique est donc caractérisée en ce qu'elle est faite, au moins partiellement, d'un matériau biodégradable. Par l'utilisation d'un matériau ' à base bio' ou biodégradable comme matériau brut, la fibre ainsi obtenue peut être produite en grande quantité à partir d'un chantier naturel biologique, dont la disponibilité est également garantie dans le futur. De plus, l'utilisation d'une fibre biodégradable dans une pelouse artificielle présente l'avantage que la fibre peut se décomposer dans le temps sans provoquer une pollution et une contamination environnementales, à la différence des fibres synthétiques à base de pétrole brut, qui restent présentes en permanence, également après l'utilisation et constituent donc un poids significatif pour l'environnement.
