Abstract
本発明に係る照明装置(1)は、電圧を供給する電圧供給部と、電圧供給部から供給される電圧により光を発生する複数の固体発光素子(31)とを備え、複数の固体発光素子(31)は、直列に接続され、直列に接続された複数の固体発光素子(31)には、電圧供給部からの供給電圧が印加され、その供給電圧は、前記複数の固体発光素子(31)のそれぞれを流れる電流が、最大定格電流の1/N(Nは2以上の数)以下となる電圧に設定されていることを特徴とする。
