Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a centrifugal separator according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such vacuum cleaners are known from various applications.
- Components of such a vacuum cleaner are essentially one or more nozzles for sucking the dust, a suction pipe, which is designed depending on the structure of the vacuum cleaner as a floor, hand or upright sucker shorter or longer or rigid or flexible, one or more centrifugal ,
- a dust container which may be part of the centrifugal or the centrifugal separator or is designed as a separate dust collector, a vacuum chamber through which the air is sucked by a fan, and optionally a fine dust filter for cleaning the outgoing air.
- a generic vacuum cleaner is known from DE 100 21 594 A1.
- the vacuum cleaner described there essentially comprises the usual components of a conventional vacuum cleaner.
- the case is made of a lower shell and a
- Dust chamber lid formed. In the dust room, however, is in place of the
- Dust bag a dust box, consisting of a centrifugal separator of a
- Dip tube covers, a dust collector and a filter. It is very popular to develop such vacuum cleaner from conventional dust bag vacuum cleaners, which development costs can be saved by all usable components of the conventional vacuum cleaner are also used in the bagless version.
- DE 100 21 594 A1 proposes simply inserting the dust box instead of the previous dust bag in a conventional vacuum cleaner so as to reuse the known housing.
- the disadvantage here is that the collecting space, which is now available for the collection of dust, due to the space required in particular the centrifugal separator is significantly reduced.
- the invention has for its object to develop a vacuum cleaner with centrifugal separator, which is even easier to use.
- connection between the centrifugal separator and the housing is flexible and resilient, so that the centrifugal separator automatically in his
- Centrifugal separator for removing the dust box from the housing decreases.
- the user now only has to actuate a triggering mechanism which supports the holder of the
- Centrifugal separator opens, whereupon it automatically folds up and releases the dust box. This allows a particularly user-friendly one-hand operation of the
- Vacuum cleaner even when removing the dust collector Even when removing the dust collector.
- the centrifugal separator is supported at the end opposite the pivoting mechanism by means of a releasable connection to the housing in its operating position. From a holder which is arranged as far away from the return element of the centrifugal separator, the centrifugal separator easiest way by itself, because the centrifugal separator due to the restoring force acting over the long lever is particularly efficient simply lifted from its holder.
- the holder for the centrifugal separator is arranged on the housing handle. This measure also supports the possibility of one-hand operation.
- the connection with the centrifugal separator is fixed to the housing is designed as a latching connection.
- the locking connection is easily actuated with a release button, in which a latching hook is released from its connection.
- the flexible element pivoting the centrifugal separator into the removal position of the dust collecting container is designed as an elastic hose.
- a tube may have intrinsic spring action. This represents a particularly cost-effective solution of a restoring element, since a tubular air duct between centrifugal separator and housing is needed anyway and no other components are needed if the spring action of such an element itself is utilized.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of a flexible hose with restoring force is a hose with integrated spiral spring.
- the hose itself may be formed of a particularly inexpensive material, in which only a metallic coil spring is cast.
- Such hoses are available as standard elements.
- a joint is provided in the region of the connection between centrifugal force separator and housing, which performs the pivoting movement of the centrifugal separator.
- the joint has a slotted guide. This makes it possible to realize a very controlled, extremely wear-insensitive pivoting movement of the centrifugal separator, which can also be easily limited by stops.
- the return element pivoting away from the centrifugal separator is realized via a resilient joint. This can - A -
- the connecting hose between centrifugal separator and housing be particularly simple, via the joint a controlled pivoting movement is effected.
- a leg spring is installed in a backdrop-guided joint. This is a particularly inexpensive and stable embodiment of such a return element.
- the pivoting joint leading joint is arranged on a connecting piece, which holds the centrifugal separator releasably in the housing.
- a connecting piece which holds the centrifugal separator releasably in the housing.
- connection piece is fixed to the housing via a latching connection.
- a locking connection is easily solvable in the event of a blockage for troubleshooting, so that the centrifugal separator can be removed easily at any time in this case without the use of tools.
- Another advantage of a latching connection is that the housing no threads or other fasteners are provided, so that the housing can be very easily constructed.
- Figure 1 a vacuum cleaner constructed according to the invention with centrifugal separator in cross-section
- Figure 2 and 3 a detail of the vacuum cleaner shown in Figure 1 with the holder of the centrifugal separator in the closed and opened state.
- FIG. 1 shows a section through a vacuum cleaner according to the invention 5 with centrifugal separator 1, which is connected via a connecting hose 2 with the housing 4 of the vacuum cleaner 5 removably attached hose nozzle 3.
- the hose nozzle 3 engages via a latching connection in the housing 4 of the vacuum cleaner 5, so that it can be detached, if it comes in the connection area between centrifugal 1 and 5 vacuum cleaner to blockage. As a result, a frequent failure of the vacuum cleaner 5 can be avoided.
- the trained on the vacuum cleaner 5 receptacle for the hose nozzle 3 is formed as well as the receptacle for the hose nozzle of the suction pipe of a conventional dust bag vacuum cleaner.
- the centrifugal separator 1 is pivotally mounted about the pivot point, so that it can be pivoted away from the vacuum cleaner 5 in a range of about 90 ° for removing the vacuum cleaner located below it in the 5 separate dust box.
- the fulcrum is located in an axis which is part of a hinge 6 which can not be represented in this sectional view.
- this joint 6 which stabilizes the connection between the detachable hose nozzle 3 and the centrifugal separator 1, the connecting hose 2 is guided during the pivoting movement.
- the joint 6 is equipped with a slotted guide.
- In addition to the air outlet region 7 is airtight separated from this the air inlet region 9 of the centrifugal separator 1.
- the dip tube 8 is formed cranked.
- the air outlet 7 of the dip tube 8 opens in the outer wall region of the vortex tube 12 of the centrifugal separator 1.
- an apex cone 14 extending into the interior of the centrifugal separator 1 is formed on a cover 13 that is detachably fastened.
- the suction pipe 1 1 connected via the connection piece 10 to the centrifugal separator 1 enters the centrifugal separator 1 in a straight line.
- the inflowing air is passed in a straight line to the unavoidable edges resulting from the connection between the suction pipe 11 and the separator 1, so that there is no potential for setting larger dust particles entrained in the air.
- Turbulence caused by the air deflection and can cause blockages when passing such edges arise only in the interior of the vortex tube 12, where no edges occur.
- the air in the lower region of the air inlet 9 is deflected by means of a formed in the air inlet region 9 in the interior of the vortex tube 12 Archimedean screw.
- the centrifugal separator 1 is mounted on the handle 17 of the vacuum cleaner 5 via a locking connection 19 shown in more detail in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the handle 17 has a release button 18, which must be pressed to release the locking connection 19 down.
- the release button 18 is pressed, the latching tongue 19 is pushed away from the cover 13, in which it engages in the closed state, and thus releases the centrifugal separator 1.
- the connecting hose 2 between centrifugal separator 1 and hose nozzle 3 is designed as a spiral hose with an integrated metallic spiral spring and thus has intrinsic restoring force, which lifts the centrifugal separator 1 from the vacuum cleaner 5 and into a position occupied by about 90 in the working position in the figure 1 pivoted position shown.
- This joint 6 also has a non-visible in the sectional view stop which defines the rest position of the centrifugal separator 1, in which the centrifugal separator is approximately perpendicular to the vacuum cleaner 5 and a not shown stored inside the vacuum cleaner 5 dust box for removal releases.
- the dust box is released for emptying by the user actuates the release button 18 on the handle 17.
- the unfolding of the centrifugal separator 1 thus takes place automatically by releasing the release button 18, without any further manipulation of the user would be necessary.
- Figures 2 and 3 show the set by pressing the trigger button 18 in motion mechanism for opening the locking connection 19 again in detail in the closed or opened state.
