Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode d'étalonnage d'un dispositif de biseautage de lentilles ophtalmiques comprenant un outil d'usinage pourvu d'une gorge de biseautage. Selon l'invention, la méthode comprend les étapes de : - positionner, dans un plan de mesure comprenant l'axe de blocage des arbres de blocage de la lentille ophtalmique et l'axe de rotation de l'outil d'usinage, l'axe de blocage à une distance de restitution connue d'un premier segment de jauge moyen défini comme étant le segment parallèle à l'axe de rotation de l'outil d'usinage dont les extrémités sont deux points qui appartiennent chacun à une face latérale de la gorge de biseautage et qui sont séparés d'une distance correspondant à une première largeur caractéristique d'appui donnée, - mesurer dans cette configuration une première position étalon de l'axe de blocage relativement à l'axe de rotation de l'outil d'usinage, et - en déduire la constante d'étalonnage.
