Abstract

L'invention concerne un filtre permettant de retenir les particules en suspension contenues dans les gaz d'échappement émis par un moteur à combustion interne, comprenant un boîtier externe (2) dont l'intérieur est divisé en deux chambres par une paroi filtrante (50) en matière poreuse. Une chambre (23) est reliée à un port d'entrée (3) destiné à un écoulement gazeux à filtrer et une chambre (24) est reliée à un port de sortie (4) destiné à un écoulement gazeux filtré. La paroi filtrante (50) en matière poreuse est disposée de façon oblique par rapport au sens de l'écoulement gazeux entrant à filtrer, de manière à être frappée par l'écoulement gazeux avec un certain angle d'incidence.
