Abstract

L'invention concerne une lampe plane (1 ) transmettant un rayonnement dans l'ultraviolet dit UV, comprenant : - des premier et deuxième éléments verriers plans (2, 3) ou sensiblement plans maintenus sensiblement parallèles entre eux et délimitant un espace interne rempli de gaz (10) susceptible d'émettre ledit rayonnement dans l'UV ou d'exciter un matériau luminophore éventuellement présent et émettant ledit rayonnement dans l'UV, ledit matériau luminophore étant alors disposé sur une face du premier et/ou du deuxième élément verrier, le premier et/ou le deuxième élément verrier (2, 3) étant en un matériau transmettant ledit rayonnement UV - une pluralité de paires d'électrodes (41, 51 ) susceptibles d'être à des potentiels distincts et d'être alimentées par une tension alternative, lesdites paires étant associées au premier élément verrier et disposées en dehors de l'espace interne, des électrodes étant sous forme de bandes et/ou de fils dans le premier élément verrier ou dans un autre élément diélectrique associé au premier élément verrier. L'invention concerne aussi ses utilisations.
