Abstract

L'invention concerne une plaquette de coupe (1) pour tête de fraisage conique (15) destinée au fraisage de chanfreins, en particulier pour le fraisage orbital de chanfreins aux extrémités de tube (25), comprenant une plaquette interchangeable par pivotement de la plaquette de coupe (1) (« plaquette réversible »), une arête de coupe (7) pour le fraisage du chanfrein (26), ayant un angle de taillant entre la face de dépouille (3) et la face de coupe (5) < 75°, caractérisée en ce qu'à l'une des extrémités de l'arête de coupe (7) est raccordée une autre arête de coupe repliée ou recourbée (13) qui est générée par une face latérale inclinée (10) formant, dans l'ensemble, avec la face de dépouille (3), un angle obtus. L'autre arête de coupe permet de former en même temps avec le chanfrein, un épaulement raccordé à celui-ci. De préférence, la ligne des sommets (12) de l'angle obtus précité entre la face de dépouille (3) et la face latérale (10 ; 31) forme avec le premier bord de coupe (7), un angle (alpha) légèrement inférieur à 90°.
