Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cannula holder with a cannula container, with a by means of an anchoring of the inside of the cannula container releasably fixed to the cannula holder cannula holder for receiving a cannula and / or an adapter for attaching a cannula, wherein the cannula and / or the adapter from the outside an opening in the cannula holder is securable in the cannula holder.
  • the cannula holder has an unlocking mechanism for releasing the cannula and / or the adapter after use such that the cannula holder falls into the cannula container upon release of the anchoring with the received cannula or adapter.
  • Such cannula holders are used in the medical care of patients in particular in the venous blood collection.
  • Both pre-evacuated blood collection tubes and piston-operated blood collection vessels, for example pre-evacuated syringes, can be used, which are attached to the cannula holder.
  • the cannula or the adapter After use of the cannula holder, the cannula or the adapter must be disposed of to attach a cannula. This is particularly dangerous for the blood collection staff because it repeatedly comes to stab wounds with the blood contaminated needles.
  • Needle holder can be added, which is closed at least at one end.
  • Such a cannula holder is known for example from US 5,769,826, in which a cannula is integrally connected to a cannula holder, which is fixed under spring tension from the inside in the cannula holder at one end of the cannula container. After use, the cannula holder on the cannula holder can be unlocked so that the cannula is retracted into the cannula holder after use and safely discarded.
  • this cannula holder has the disadvantage that the cannula holder with the cannula permanently fixed therein must be fastened from inside the cannula holder.
  • a cannula can be screwed into the cannula holder from the outside. After use, the rear end of the cannula holder is closed with a cap, with the second in the cannula container stored second moved forward wall while the cannula holder is released so that it falls together with the cannula into the interior of the cannula container.
  • this triggering mechanism is not safe because, when introducing blood collection tubes into the cannula holder, it can happen that the inner wall is displaced and the cannula holder is already released while the cannula is still fixed in the arm of the patient. This is especially true in the case where several blood collection tubes are to be removed on the patient's arm.
  • the front opening of the cannula holder is not closable, so that there is a risk that the cannula after being taken up in the cannula container again falls forward out of the front opening or drips contaminated blood from the cannula through this opening.
  • Another cannula holder is known from WO 2005/039677 A1, which describes a cannula holder with a cannula holder defined from the inside on the cannula holder, into which cannula can be inserted from the outside through an opening in a first end side of the cannula container.
  • the cannula holder can be unlocked by an externally actuated unlocking mechanism, so that the cannula holder with the attached cannula reliably falls into the cannula container of the cannula holder even without a spring bias.
  • the unlocking mechanism can be formed by means of a slider so that after unlocking the cannula, the opening in the cannula holder for the passage of the cannula is closed at the same time.
  • the cannula holder is locked directly to the cannula holder, it has been found in practice that even with this cannula holder, the cannula is not fixed sufficiently stable on the cannula holder and can pivot with respect to the central axis of the cannula holder.
  • At least one support element for stabilizing the cannula holder in the cannula container is provided on the cannula holder.
  • Such an additional supporting element on the cannula holder substantially restricts the freedom of movement of the cannula holder fastened to the cannula holder or cannula container, so that the cannula as a whole is secured much more securely on the cannula holder.
  • the anchoring can pass through at least one attachment opening in the end face of the cannula container from the inside and be releasably anchored to the outside of the cannula container.
  • the anchoring can be latched on the inside of the cannula container on the outside of the cannula container, so that this latching is simply detachable from the outside and the cannula holder is pressed into the interior of the cannula container when the latch is released by the unlocking mechanism.
  • the support element on the inside of the cannula container in particular its end face, abuttingly abuts, because thereby a counter support is achieved to the passing through the cannula container latching.
  • This will make the needle holder in the cannula container particularly securely fixed as long as the cannula holder is fixed to the cannula container or cannula holder.
  • At least two anchors and / or at least two support elements are provided on the cannula holder.
  • the plurality of anchors and / or support elements may be arranged around a receiving opening of the cannula holder for the cannula and / or the adapter, so that the cannula is well stabilized, in particular in the direction of the passage axis, which lies in the axial direction of the central axis of the cannula ha Iters ,
  • two anchorages along a first line on opposite sides of the receiving opening and two support elements along a second line on opposite sides of the receiving opening may be arranged, wherein the lines intersect, for example, in the center of the receiving opening and are arranged in particular at right angles to each other.
  • fastening or support elements are provided at a 90 ° distance from each other, so that the cannula is well and safely stabilized in any direction.
  • the cannula holder can have a disc which corresponds in its shape to the inner cross section of the cannula container, so that the disc can be inserted flush into the cannula container and movable therein.
  • the anchors and support elements according to the invention can be fixed particularly easily to the cannula holder.

  • the first projection may be spaced from an opening opposite the cannula holder. Then, preferably, a second projection on the inside of the cannula container is formed directly at the opening.
  • the two projections which are in particular in the form of a bead, the safety is further increased because removal of the cannula holder received in the cannula container further complicates and keeps a cap fitted onto the opening more securely.
