Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Gegenkolbenmotoren, deren Gaswechsel mittels gesteuerter Schiebebüchsen (1 und 2) erfolgt (siehe Querschnittsausschnitt Fig. 1 eines Gegenkolbenmotors), welche ein von der Stellung der Kolben (3 und 4) unabhängiges Öffnen und Schließen von ringförmig um den Zylinder verlaufenden Ein- und Auslasskanälen (5 und 6) ermöglichen, wobei die gegenläufigen Kolben während ihres gesamten Hubes vom äußeren zum den Brennraum (7) einschließenden inneren Totpunkt mit ihren Kolbenringen die durch die Büchsenbewegung sich öffnenden und schließenden Steuerschlitze nie im geöffneten Zustand überlaufen, wodurch die Nachteile von herkömmlichen schlitzgesteuerten Motoren, z. B. Ölabstreifung in die Schlitze und Aufspringen der Kolbenringe vermieden werden. Die Erfindung bezieht sich detailliert auf die Ausgestaltung von Antrieb und Abdichtung der mechanisch, elektrisch, pneumatisch oder hydraulisch axial hin und her bewegten Schiebebüchsen.
