Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif servant à assurer une bonne orientation d'un gabarit de foret (5, 6) qui a été produit à partir de l'activation de la fermeture des mâchoires du patient alors à l'état conscient et qui a été exécuté à l'aide d'un procédé connu au moyen d'un équipement assisté par ordinateur par stéréolithographie. Le gabarit peut être doté de manchons de retenue (24, 25) permettant d'appliquer l'instrument sur le gabarit. Des vis de fixation sont utilisées pour fixer le gabarit dans la position orientée. Des manchons de guidage (24, 25) sont utilisés pour former des trous conçus pour s'étendre jusqu'à l'os zygomatique (2) depuis une prothèse dentaire produite au moyen du gabarit. Un instrument est conçu pour s'étendre depuis un manchon de retenue correspondant à l'extérieur de la bouche du patient vers un emplacement sur l'extérieur de l'os zygomatique. L'instrument est conçu, au moyen d'un indicateur de la profondeur du trou, pour indiquer la fin du trou de foret correspondant au niveau de la position extérieure pour des repères qui sont appliqués lorsque le patient est conscient. Lors de l'application du gabarit alors que le patient est sous anesthésie, l'application appropriée des instruments garantit une bonne orientation de par la localisation d'un emplacement pour le gabarit dans lequel l'instrument est orienté à l'aide du repère correspondant. Cette invention concerne également un instrument qui peut être utilisé dans le dispositif. Cette invention permet d'obtenir une direction sûre du trou de foret sur des parties solides de l'os zygomatique sans risque de mauvais guidage en direction de la cavité orbitale ou dans la cavité orbitale.
