Description

Vehicle with multi-purpose towing away superstructure
Technical Field
The invention relates to the vehicle with a multi-purpose towing away superstructure, suitable for disengaging, towing away or carrying away of immobile road vehicles. Background Art
At the present, no emergency vehicle is known, making possible e.g. to drag out the broken down vehicle situated in an inaccessible place out of the road to the place where it is possible to attach or to load up such a vehicle on the draw-away vehicle and to drag it or to remove it to the place of destination depending upon the extend of its damage. Therefore, for disengaging, dragging out, or removing of vehicles made immobile in consequence of a breakdown or trouble, a number of engineering of different art is necessary according to the extend of damage of the road vehicle.
In the partial extend, this lack is solved by a towing away vehicles fitted with a small crane. But their design makes possible only the disengaging of the damaged vehicle and its approach to the road where it will be attached to the towing away vehicle with aid of which it will be - using two or four wheels - dragged to the place of destination. In such a case, wheels of at least one axle on the damaged vehicle must be usable. In the case that the damaged vehicle has no usable wheels on any its axle, or in the case of vehicle that can not be dragged, the assistance of a platform towing away vehicle is needed, on which the damaged vehicle will be loaded up and removed to the place of destination.
The disadvantage of such a state consists in increasing costs for towing away and transport of the immobile vehicle in consequence of the necessity of a number of towing away and dragging vehicles, what has a negative financial consequences for subjects bearing such costs. Therefore, subjects that secure the towing away and transport of damaged vehicles must hold a large assortment of emergency vehicles what demands increased financial demands from the point of view of both investment and business costs. Disclosure of Invention
The said disadvantages are in the considerable extend eliminated by the vehicle with an towing away superstructure according to this Invention, which disclosure consists in that, that the towing away superstructure is fastened on the vehicle undercarriage frame with aid of the basic frame, on which a jib is swinging mounted in the horizontal plane, fitted on its free end with guide window, through which a hauling rope passes, one end of which being connected with the winch drum, fitted on the vehicle stationary part near the mounted jib. The other end of the hauling rope is fitted with an element for suspension of binding means. The jib is interconnected by means of at least one jig jack with the stationary part of the vehicle. In the space under the basic frame, on the basic frame, a suspension with one its end swinging in the horizontal plane is mounted, its other end being fitted with a telescopic jib. The free end of the telescopic jib of the suspension is fitted with a carrier for the seating of wheels of the inoperative axle of the damaged vehicle or of one end of the pulling up connecting rails. The suspension is connected by means of at least one suspension jack with the vehicle stationary part. The towing away superstructure designed in this way makes possible the emergency vehicle equipped with this superstructure to carry out the function of the disengaging towing away vehicle of damaged road vehicles with one functional axle on the suspension attachment and the function of a vehicle for transport of entirely immobile road vehicles on the loading platform made by a loading area of the superstructure and by the pulling up connecting rails mounted by one their end on the loading area of the superstructure and by their other end on the carrier arranged on the telescopic jib of the suspension. From the point of view of the production, it is advantageous, if the jib, the rib carrier, the suspension and the suspension jack are arranged directly on the superstructure basic frame, which makes possible to produce the towing away superstructure as a complete unit that will be attached on the usual way to the undercarriage frame of the towing away vehicle.
The disclosure of the Invention consists further in that, that on the basic frame, the cover of the superstructure is fastened, that on the horizontal loading area, has a shaped hole, the shape of which advantageously corresponds to the longitudinal form of the jib and on its vertical rear part, the cover has holes, their shape advantageously corresponding to the transversal shape of pulling up connecting rails. Such design of the superstructure cover makes possible to tilt the jib into the shaped hole in such a way, that it does not protrude above the loading part of the cover, what makes possible to place and to transport the entirely immobile road vehicle on the towing away vehicle, equipped with such a superstructure. At the same time, the holes in the rear part of the cover make possible to place the pulling up connecting rails in the area under the cover loading area during the running of the emergency vehicle to the intervention place or in the case, when these pulling up connecting rails are not used for creating the loading platform.
The disclosure of the Invention consists also in that, that the suspension is equipped with at least one supporting element that after dumping the suspension to the road surface level, makes possible to take-up the reaction forces caused by the hauling rope of the jib during the disengaging of an immobile vehicle.
At least, the disclosure of the Invention consists in that, that on the hauling attachment of the vehicle, the hauling triangle is detachably arranged, made by the hauling plate, equipped on its one end with an attaching element and on its opposite end, with at least one retainer and by at least one flexible load-bearing element, the free end of which is equipped with at least one suspension element. Such design of the superstructure makes possible the hauling of the damaged vehicle having one axle functional, but its other axle being damaged in such a way that it does not make possible to haul the damaged vehicle on the suspension attachment.
Owing to its multi-purpose character, the vehicle equipped with the superstructure according to the Invention improves the operational character of the intervention that influences also the total cost expended on the setting free and transport of the damaged road vehicle.
Brief Description of Drawings
The invention will be close explained by means of drawings, from which FIG.1 demonstrates the perspective rear view on the vehicle, FIG.2 demonstrates the side view on the vehicle, FIG. 3 demonstrates the rear view of the cover of the superstructure, FIG.4 demonstrates the front view on the suspension and FIG.5 demonstrates the perspective view on the hauling triangle. Example of Carrying Out the Invention
The main parts of the towing away superstructure are the jib 2, the suspension jack 3, the pulling up connecting rails 4 and the hauling triangle 5, that make possible to use the vehicle equipped with such a towing away superstructure for all basic operations connected with disengaging and towing away of the immobile road vehicle and with its transport to the required place. The towing away superstructure is fastened on the undercarriage frame of the vehicle by means of the basic frame on which a jib 2 is swinging mounted in the horizontal plane, being fitted on its free end with a guide window 21 through which a hauling rope 22 passes, one end of which being connected with the winch drum 23 fastened on the vehicle stationary part near to the mounting of the jib 2. The other end of the hauling rope 27 is fitted with a suspender for suspension of binding means fitted to the immobile vehicle. The jib 2 is by means of two jib jacks 24 mounted on its side walls interconnected with the superstructure basic frame and - in the area under the superstructure basic frame - on the superstructure basic frame, the suspension 3 with one its end swinging in the horizontal plane is mounted, its other end being fitted with a telescopic jib 31, the free end of which is fitted with a carrier 2. The suspension 3 is by means of two jib jacks 33 mounted on its side walls interconnected with the superstructure basic frame. The suspension 3 is equipped on both its side walls with supporting elements 34 for taking-up the reaction forces caused by the hauling rope 22 of the jib 2 during the disengaging of an immobile road vehicle. On the superstructure basic frame, the superstructure cover 1 is fastened, that on its horizontal loading area 11 has a shaped hole 111, its shape corresponding to the longitudinal shape of the jib 2. On the vertical rear part 12 of the cover 1, holes 121 are created, their shapes corresponding to the transversal shape of pulling up connecting rails of the superstructure. On the hauling attachment of the vehicle, the hauling triangle 5 is detachably arranged, made by the hauling plate 51, equipped on its one end with an attaching element 52 and on its opposite end, with two retainers 53 and by two flexible load-bearing elements 54, free ends of which are equipped with two suspension elements 55.
When the jib 2 does not function or when on the loading area of the cover 1 no immobile road vehicle is transported, the jib 2 is a little held up for making possible to hang the hauling triangle 5 on it, by means of the attaching element 52, the suspension element 55 of the triangle 5 being mounted on the suspension of the hauling rope 22. When disengaging the immobile road vehicle, the hauling triangle 5 will be taken down of the jib 2_and on the suspension of the hauling rope 22, binding means will be fastened to the suspension of the hauling rope g2, by means of which the immobile road vehicle will be drawn up to the towing away vehicle by winding up of the hauling rope 22 on the winch drum 23. According to the damage extend of the inoperative axle of the immobile road vehicle, the hauling suspension 3 will be shifted out by means of the suspension jack 33 or the hauling triangle 5_will be connected to the hauling attachment of the towing away vehicle by means of the attachment element 52 and by means of suspending elements 55 will be connected to the suspension of the hauling rope 22. Then the immobile road vehicle will be located with the wheels of the inoperative axle on the carrier 32 of the suspension 3, if the axle damage it allows, or it will be fastened by means of binding means to the retainers 53 of the hauling triangle 5,. if the axle damage of the immobile road vehicle does not allow its hauling on the carrier 32 of the suspension 3. In the case that both axles of the immobile road vehicle are inoperative, the pulling up connecting rails_4 will be drawn out of the holes 121 of the cover 1_rear part and they will be fastened with one their end to the carrier 32 of the suspension 3 and by their other end to the cover 1 of the superstructure. The jib 2 will be pushed over into the bottom position by means of the jib jack 24 in such a way that the whole jib comes into the shaped hole HI of the loading part H of the cover 1. The immobile road vehicle will be fastened by means of binding means to the suspension of the hauling rope 22 and by winding up the hauling rope 22 on the winch drum 23 the immobile road vehicle will be loaded on the towing away vehicle in such a way that the wheels of one its axle are situated on the loading part of the cover 1 and the wheels of the other axle are situated on the pulling up connecting rails 4.
