Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erkennung von reaktiven Gasanteilen im Abgas einer Brennkraftmaschine mit mehreren Zylindern mit folgenden Schritten: Erfassen des zeitlichen Verlaufes zumindest eines zyklisch entsprechend der Zündfolge der Zylinder schwankenden charakteristischen Motorbetriebsparameters während zumindest eines ersten Zeitfensters; Differenzieren des Verlaufes des charakteristischen Motorbetriebsparameters entsprechend den beteiligten Zylindern; Erfassen des zeitlichen Verlaufens der Temperatur oder der thermischen Strahlung an zumindest einer, vorzugsweise durch einen Katalysator gebildeten, Abgasnachbehandlungseinrichtung während zumindest eines mit dem ersten Zeitfenster korrelierenden zweiten Zeitfensters; Feststellen, ob der zeitliche Verlauf der Temperatur zumindest eine Temperaturspitze aufweist; Zuordnen des Zeitpunktes des Auftretens der Temperaturspitze zu einem Verursachungszeitpunkt im zeitlichen Verlauf des charakteristischen Motorparameters; Zuordnen des Verursachungszeitpunktes der Temperaturspitze zu zumindest einem verursachenden Zylinder.
