It is further possible to give the thread the most desired coloring by simply embedding inside it pigments and colors or to give it antibacterial and antiodorant characteristics.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition luminescente contenant du polypropylène, un procédé permettant de produire un fil ou un monofilaments à partir de cette composition, et un article comprenant ce fil et convenant particulièrement pour la fabrication de tissus destinés à la confection de vêtements et d'uniformes ainsi que de rideaux et de tissus de décoration d'intérieur, de filets et de cordages. La composition décrite est capable de se charger de lumière pendant la journée, ou chaque fois qu'elle est exposée à une source lumineuse adéquate, et de libérer cette luminescence dans l'obscurité pendant une durée considérable.
