Abstract

 本発明は差動式伝送用コネクタの信号特性の劣化を改善することを目的とする。本発明によるコネクタは、一対の信号線と一対のドレイン線を備えた複数本のケーブルと電気接続されるコネクタであって、前記コネクタは、上記ケーブルの一対の信号線が接続される一対の隣接した信号用接触子と、上記ケーブルの少なくとも1本のドレイン線と接続される接地用接触子と、前記一対の信号用接触子及び前記接地用接触子を、同一平面上であって上記ケーブルの軸方向と直交する幅方向に交互に一列に配列した担体と、上記接地用接触子の少なくとも一部、上記信号用接触子の少なくとも一部及び上記担体の少なくとも一部を覆う第1の金属製シェルとを備え、上記第1の金属製シェルが少なくとも1本の接地用接触子と第1の接点を有することを特徴とする。
