Description
以下に、本発明のコネクタの組み立て方法を説明する。まず、ケーブルCの被覆を剥がし、信号用電線Csおよび接地用電線Cgを露出させる。次に、各々の信号用電線Csをガイド部材3の電線ガイド孔3aに挿通し、ガイド溝3bに沿うように上方に折り曲げる。そして、ガイド部材3をプラグ部2に取り付ける。
(1)上述の実施形態では、圧接により第1コンタクト51と信号用電線Csとを接続するために第1コンタクト51の電線接続部51bをU字状に構成したが、これに限定されるものではない。例えば、半田付けにより第1コンタクト51と信号用電線Csとを接続しても構わない。この場合には、第1コンタクト51の電線接続部をU字状に構成する必要はなく、平板形状等でも構わない。

Claims (4)
- 信号用電線および接地用電線を含む複数の電線を有するケーブルを接続対象に接続するコネクタであって、
絶縁体からなるケースと、
前記接続対象のジャックに挿入される被挿入部を有し、当該被挿入部が前記ケースから突出するように前記ケースに収容されるプラグ部と、
前記ケースに収容され、前記複数の電線を前記プラグ部に案内する絶縁体からなるガイド部材と、を備え、
前記プラグ部は、
前記被挿入部が形成された導体からなるシェルと、
前記被挿入部が前記ジャックに挿入された際に前記ジャックの信号用コンタクトと弾性接触することにより当該信号用コンタクトと電気的に接続する可動接点部と、当該可動接点部の幅よりも広い幅を有し、前記電線と接続する電線接続部と、を有する複数の第1コンタクトと、
前記第1コンタクトの長さよりも短い長さを有し、前記被挿入部が前記ジャックに挿入された際に前記ジャックのグランド用コンタクトと弾性接触することにより当該グランド用コンタクトと電気的に接続する可動接点部と、前記電線に直接的に接続しない接地接点部と、を有する複数の第2コンタクトと、
前記第2コンタクトの前記電線側の端部を前記第1コンタクトの前記電線接続部よりも前記被挿入部側に偏倚するように、当該第1コンタクトと当該第2コンタクトとを並列させて収容する絶縁体からなるコンタクト収容部材と、を備え、
前記第2コンタクトの並列方向に対して垂直な方向に沿って前記ガイド部材の内部に収容され、前記接地接点部に接触する接地端子と、
前記ケースに収容され、前記接地用電線と電気的に接続する接地用電線接続部と、前記接地接点部とは反対側で前記接地端子と電気的に接続する接地端子接続部とを有する導体からなるカバー部材とを備えているコネクタ。 - 前記接地端子は、前記第2コンタクトの前記接地接点部と弾性接触する可動接点部を備えている請求項1記載のコネクタ。
- 前記ガイド部材は、前記信号用電線を挿通する電線ガイド孔と、前記電線接続部の端部を挿入するコンタクトガイド孔とを有し、
前記電線接続部の端部は、前記電線ガイド孔に挿通された前記信号用電線を挟み込む請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記シェルは、前記カバー部材に接続するカバー接続部を備えている請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタ。
