  • the friction ring for friction shafts particularly for winding multiple reels comprises an internal ring 2, which can be arranged on a friction shaft, generally designated by the reference numeral 3 and typically provided by means of a shaft body 4, which is provided peripherally with a plurality of strips 5 which run parallel to the axis and can expand radially by way of the action of expansion chambers 6, which can be connected to a compressed air supply circuit.
  • the strips 5 are made to expand with a pressure whose value can vary as a function of the torque to be applied to the individual cores being wound, so that said reels can adapt uniformly and automatically to different traction conditions during winding.
  • the internal ring 2 is provided with a central body 10, which has an abutment flange 11 at one end and can be coupled to an external ring 15, which is provided with uniformly distributed openings 16 for the protrusion of removable locking elements, constituted by balls 17, which are activated so as to move radially by the rotation of the core of the reel on the external ring, combined with a slight pressure.
  • the external ring 15 is kept in position by means of a locking ring 18, which is retained by a split ring 19, for example of the snap or Seeger type.
  • the particular characteristic of the invention consists in that activation means for activating the locking elements are provided which allow to act in both of the directions of rotation of the friction shaft.
  • Said activation means are constituted by slots 20 provided with a bottom which forms mutually opposite ramps 21 which converge at a central apex 22.
  • the activation means allow to preset the friction ring according to the direction of rotation of the shaft; it is in fact possible to arrange the balls 17 in the end of the slot 20 that matches the direction of rotation to be imparted to the shaft.
  • the slots 20 are uniformly distributed circumferentially and are advantageously arranged on two circumferences or circumferential rows arranged side-by-side in an axial direction; of course, nothing changes conceptually if a single circumference of slots or optionally more than two slots are provided.
  • the slots arranged on the opposite side with respect to the flange 11 are provided with a cutout or undercut 25 which is open toward the free edge, allowing easy insertion of the balls 17.

Abstract

Bague de frottement pour arbres de frottement, en particulier pour enrouler des bobines multiples, comprenant une bague interne (2), qui peut être placée sur un arbre de frottement (3) et est associée à une bague externe (15), d'où saillent des éléments (17) pour le blocage réversible du noyau de la bobine à enrouler qui peut être accouplé à la bague de frottement (1), les éléments de blocage (17) étant activés par la rotation du noyau de la bobine sur la bague externe (15), combinée à une légère pression, la bague de frottement (1) comprenant en outre des moyens (20) pour activer les éléments de blocage (17) qui agissent dans les deux sens de rotation de l'arbre de frottement (3).
