技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、被検体の心臓、肺等の周期運動を繰り返す部位 (以下周期運動部位と 称する)の周期運動を計測する心電計、呼吸センサ等の周期運動検知装置からの周 期運動を表す信号波形を利用して周期運動部位の断層像を撮影する周期運動計 測装置を備えた X線 CT装置の改良に関する。本出願は、日本国特許法に基づく特 許出願特願第 2005-009731号に基づくパリ優先権主張を伴う出願であり、特願第 200 5-009731号の利益を享受するために参照による援用を受ける出願である。
背景技術
[0002] 従来、 X線 CT装置を用いて被検体の周期運動部位を撮影する際には、特許文献 1 に示すように、周期運動計測装置によって周期運動部位の周期運動を計測しながら その周期運動を表す信号波形のある位相に同期して X線 CT装置のスキャンを行つ たり、あるいは周期運動を表す信号波形のある位相に同期して X線 CT装置のスキヤ ンデータを選択、加工して断層画像の再構成に供して 、た。

[0003] しかし、心臓等の周期運動部位は、常に同じ周期で周期運動を繰り返しているとは 限らないので、対象としているある周期運動部位のある運動周期の位相における希 望する撮影範囲の像を確実に再構成出来る撮影データを得るためには、撮影範囲 の始まりの領域および終了の領域が確実に得られるように、その領域の前後でそれ ぞれー運動周期分が余分に撮影されて 、た、例えば 6心拍で撮影可能な領域に対 し前後 1心拍分を足して 8心拍分撮影していた。このため、再撮影は回避できたが、さ らに余分な運動周期での撮影を不要とすることで、さらなる被検体への低被曝化に 対して言及して ヽな力つた。
[0004] 本発明の目的は、被検体への被曝を抑制し、かつ対象としている周期運動部位の ある運動周期における希望する撮影範囲の全体像を再構成するに十分な撮影デー タを得ることが可能な X線 CT装置を提供することにある。 発明の開示
[0005] 上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の X線 CT装置は、被検体に照射するための X 線源と、前記被検体を前記 X線源との間に挟んで前記 X線源と対向して配置され前 記被検体の透過 X線を検出する X線検出器と、前記 X線源と前記 X線検出器を搭載 して前記被検体の周囲を回転可能な回転環と、前記被検体を搭載して被検体の体 軸方向への移動可能なテーブルと、前記 X線検出器によって取得された前記被検体 の透過 X線データを基に前記被検体の周期運動部位の断層画像を作成する画像処 理装置と、前記画像処理装置によって作成された断層画像を表示する表示装置と、 を備えた X線 CT装置であって、前記被検体にその計測端子が装着され前記被検体 の周期運動部位からの周期運動の波形信号を計測し、その計測された波形信号を 前記画像処理装置に入力する被検体の周期運動計測装置を別に有した X線 CT装 置において、前記周期運動計測装置によって計測された周期運動波形信号に基づ き周期運動部位の運動周期を算出し、その算出された運動周期により周期運動波形 信号中の所望の時点を設定し、その設定された所望時点に基づいて前記周期運動 部位に関して周期運動の目的位相までの計測すべき開始点又は終了点を算出する 計測範囲算出部と、前記算出された計測すべき開始点又は終了点に基づいて前記
X線源からの X線曝射の開始又は終了の少なくとも一方の運動周期を設定し、その 設定された運動周期に対応する X線曝射の開始又は終了の少なくとも一方により、 前記 X線源からの X線の照射、前記 X線検出器での前記撮影データの取得、前記テ 一ブルの移動速度、および回転環の回転を制御して撮影を実行させる制御部と、を 備える。
[0006] さらに具体的に説明すると、本発明では、 X線 CT装置および被検体にその計測端 子が装着され被検体の周期運動部位力 の周期運動を表す波形信号を計測し、計 測した信号を X線 CT装置の画像処理装置に入力する被検体の周期運動計測装置 を備えた X線 CT装置において、画像処理装置は、撮影開始に先立って周期運動計 測装置からの周期運動を表す波形信号に基づき周期運動部位の運動周期を算出し 、周期運動部位の撮影開始に先立って周期運動を表す波形信号中の特徴点が表 れるタイミングを撮影開始準備基準点タイミングとして予測、算出し、この撮影開始準 備基準点タイミングに基づ 、て周期運動部位に関して撮影を希望する周期運動の目 的位相が表われるタイミングを撮影開始目的位相タイミングとして予測、算出するタイ ミング算出部を有し、 X線 CT装置の制御装置はタイミング算出部から取得した撮影 開始目的位相タイミングに基づいて X線 CT装置の X線源からの X線曝射の開始を制 御し、さらにこのタイミング算出部は、撮影終了に先立って周期運動計測装置が撮影 中に計測した周期運動部位の周期運動を表す波形信号に基づき周期運動部位の 運動周期を算出し、周期運動部位の撮影終了に先立って周期運動を表す波形信号 中の特徴点が表れるタイミングを撮影終了準備基準点タイミングとして予測、算出し、 この撮影終了準備基準点タイミングに基づいて周期運動部位に関して撮影を希望す る周期運動の目的位相が表われるタイミングを撮影終了目的位相タイミングとして予 測、算出し、制御装置はタイミング算出部力 取得した撮影終了目的位相タイミング に基づいて X線源からの X線曝射の終了を制御することを特徴とする。

[0009] 図 1に、本実施例による X線 CT装置の構成を示す。図中、 1は X線管を、 2はスキヤ ナガントリを、 3は被検体テーブルを、 4は X線検出器を、 5は表示装置を、 6は周期運 動計測手段としての心電計を、 7は画像処理装置を、 8は回転環を、 9はコリメータを 、 10は回転駆動装置を、 11は測定制御装置を、 12はコンピュータを、 13は入力装 置を、 14はコンピュータ 12中に含まれている撮影タイミング算出装置をそれぞれ示 す。
[0010] スキャナガントリ 2には、回転環 8に搭載された X線管 1、X線管 1に取り付けられた X 線束の方向ならびに X線照射野 (範囲)を制御するコリメータ 9、回転環 8に搭載され た X線検出器 4が含まれて 、る。 X線は X線管 1から照射され被検体を透過して X線 検出器 4で検出される。この際、回転環 8が回転することで、被検体の周囲から X線透 過撮影データが収集される。
[0011] 画像処理装置 7は、 X線検出器 4で検出された計測データから撮影データを作成し 、その撮影データから CT画像信号を算出する。表示装置 5は、 CT画像信号を CT画 像として表示、出力する。
[0012] なお、回転環 8は回転駆動装置 10によって回転駆動される。また、回転駆動装置 1 0は測定制御装置 11によって速度、駆動開始、停止等が制御される。また、 X線管 1 力も発生する照射 X線強度ゃコリメータ 9によって制限される X線の照射範囲も、測定 制御装置 11によって制御される。この測定制御装置 11はコンピュータ 12によって制 御される。
[0013] 心電計 6によって計測される電気信号について説明する。図 2はこの電気信号の一 例である。電気信号は心運動に基づくいくつかの波形上の特徴部分によって構成さ れる。図示したように、各々の特徴部分には、通常、 P波、 Q波、 R波、 S波、および T 波の名称が付けられる。なお、心電同期スキャンおよび再構成では、検出がもっとも 確実に行える R波を基準として心拍位相を決定することが多い。
[0014] 図 3を用いて、前記心電計 6で取得した心拍位相をパラメータとして用いて収集した 撮影データから断層像を再構成する方法を説明する。図 3中、横軸は時間であり、縦 軸は被検体の体軸の位置である。テーブル 3が被検体を搭載して、被検体をその体 軸方向に送り出す。その際、回転環 8が回転することで被検体の周囲から断層像を 作成するのに必要な撮影データを撮影する。断層像を作成するのに必要な撮影デ ータは対向 X線ビームを使用するとしても少なくとも 180度方向からの撮影角度範囲 が必要である。
[0015] 図中の四角形 31, 32, 33で囲まれた範囲は、取り込まれた撮影データの範囲を示 している。四角形 31, 32, 33の横幅はデータを取り込んだ撮影角度の範囲を示して おり、この場合の撮影角度範囲は 180度である。また、四角形 31, 32, 33の縦幅は 撮影可能なスライス範囲、つまりスライス方向の X線照射範囲を示している。これはま た X線検出器 4の列数に対応している。また、図中の点線はスライス方向の X線照射 範囲の移動軌跡を示したものである。これは上記四角形 31, 32, 33の移動軌跡と一 致している。なお、点線の傾きはテーブル 3の移動速度に相当する。
[0016] 図 3では、時間軸 (横軸)と平行して心電波形 20を示した。心電波形 20は、例えば 、 ECG (Electro Cardio Gram)信号である。ここでは、 R波を強調して心拍周期を示し ている。
[0017] 再構成にあたっては、設定した目的の心拍位相で計測された撮影データを抽出し て画像再構成を行う。四角形 31, 32, 33で表わされた撮影データは、心拍位相 27, 28, 29にそれぞれ対応している。 [0018] 図 3中、 40は四角形 31, 32, 33で表わされる撮影データに基づく体軸方向再構 成範囲を示す。図中の三心拍分を撮影した場合は、体軸方向再構成範囲 40につい て断層像を作成可能となる。また、心臓のスキヤノグラム 19は体軸方向再構成範囲 4 0と並べて描かれている。心臓のスキヤノグラム 19は被検体の撮影に先立って、被検 体の体軸に沿った一方向から X線を照射して得る。この図からは体軸方向再構成範 囲 40によって撮影対象である心臓の全領域が撮影範囲に十分に含まれていること が判る。
[0019] 図 4は心拍に乱れが生じ予定した心拍 27のタイミングに心拍が現れな力 たため 3 心拍 28, 29, 30に対応して四角形 34, 35, 36で表わされる撮影データが取り込ま れた例を示して ヽる。この撮影データによって再構成される体軸方向再構成範囲は 4 1で示されており、取り込んだ撮影データ 34, 35, 36からは心臓のスキヤノグラム 19 の中 42で示す範囲の画像が再構成出来な 、ことを示して 、る。
[0020] 図 5は図 3と同じ心電波形のタイミングで心電波形 R— R 50%の位相に同期して、 撮影データ 37, 38, 39を取り込んだ例を示している。この撮影データによって再構 成される体軸方向再構成範囲は 43で示されており、取り込んだ撮影データ 37、 38, 39からは、並置された心臓のスキヤノグラム 19の中 44で示す範囲の画像が再構成 出来ないことを示している。この原因は被検体を載せたテーブルを図 3と同じタイミン グで駆動したことによる。なお、 R— R 50%は隣接する R波同士の間隔を 100%とし た場合、相対法で表わした約 50%の位置に相当する心拍位相を示している。
[0021] 次に、図 7乃至 12を参照しながら、図 6に従って、図 1に示した心電計 6と X線 CT装 置の組合せを用いた、本発明の一実施例による、心臓の断層画像を作成するまでの それぞれの処理ステップを説明する。
[0022] まず、ステップ S 100では、被検者を体軸方向に一方向から直線走査して、画像作 成の範囲決定のためのスキヤノグラム像を撮影する。ここで得た撮影結果は、透視像 となり、目的とする撮影部位の撮影時に、被検体テーブル 3をどれだけ送り出せばよ いかを決定する際の指標となる。
[0023] ステップ S101では、操作者は撮影条件を入力装置 13から入力して設定する。設 定する撮影条件には回転環スキャナ 8の回転速度、テーブル移動速度、 X線照射強 度、ステップ S 100で取得したスキヤノグラム像を利用した画像を作成する範囲等があ る。
[0024] ステップ S102では、心電計 6を用いて撮影開始タイミングの事前決定を目的として 心拍をモニタリングする。即ち、図 1に示す心電計 6を用いて、被検体からの ECG信 号を所定期間モニタリングする。
[0025] ステップ S103では、ステップ S102でモニターした心電波形からその被検体の平均 的な 1心拍周期 CC (Cardiac Cycle : 1回の心拍動に要する時間)を求める。

[0031] 式中の再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeとは 1枚の断層像を再構成するために最低 限必要なデータを収集するのに要する撮影時間である。本実施例の心臓撮影の場 合、約 180度の撮影データを用 V、て画像再構成を行う手法が用 、られて 、るので、 その場合前記再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeは回転環スキャナの回転時間の約 1/ 2に相当する。再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeは、 X線 CT装置の諸元や再構成条 件によって左右されるため、ステップ S101にて算出しておいてもよいし、このステップ S 104に至るまでに算出してもよい。
[0032] ここで、撮影開始準備時間 PretStを求めるにあたり、再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTi meの半値を差し引いている理由は、周期運動部位の断層像を再構成する場合、画 像の再構成に用いる撮影データの中央位置が目的の心拍位相になるように撮影デ ータの取り込み範囲を設定するためである。言い換えれば、目的位相の時間的一点 と撮影データの中心部を一致させて撮影データを選択し、これを再構成すると、目的 心拍位相の画質が最良化されるからである。また、 CCは、上記ステップ S 103で算出 した 1心拍周期である。以上のようにして、再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeの中間を 目的心拍位相 203に合わせて、求める撮影開始タイミング 220を算出する。この際、 予測された直前の心拍 202をトリガーとして、(式 1)で求めた撮影開始準備時間 Prep St経過後に曝射が開始されるように、図 1の測定制御装置 11が動作する。
[0033] 次に、図 8を参照して、隣接する R波の間の任意の位相での即ち、 R波の頂点以外 の目的心拍位相 230での撮影開始タイミング 220の算出方法について説明する。

[0037] 以上のようにして、再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeの中間を目的心拍位相 230に 合わせて求めた撮影開始タイミング 220を決定する。この際、予測した直前の心拍 2 02をトリガーとして、(式 3)で求めた撮影開始準備時間 PrepSt経過後に曝射が開始 されるように、図 1の測定制御装置 11が動作する。
[0038] 次に、図 9を参照して、心電波形に不整脈が現れた場合の撮影開始タイミングの算 出方法について説明する。図 9は、 R波の頂点が目的心拍位相となる場合において 、不整脈により撮影開始タイミングの算出が図 7の方法ではできない場合を示す図で ある。不整脈とは、突発的に周期外の心拍動が発生する場合である。心電波形に不 整脈が現れると、撮影開始準備時間 PrepStに誤差が生じ、正しいタイミングで撮影を 開始することができない。
[0039] 基準点を基に撮影開始準備時間 PrepStを求めるまでは、図 7を参照し、(式 1)で求 めたものと同じである。つまり、タイミング算出手段 14は、一度図 7で説明したように予 測基準点 202を基に撮影開始準備時間 PrepStを求める。次に、図 1の心電計 6では 、撮影開始準備時間 PrepStの間に突発的な心拍動の発生が無いかをモニターする 。発生が確認された場合は、撮影タイミング算出手段 14は、発生後の基準点 209を 修正基準点として、再度、撮影開始準備時間 PrepStを算出し直して、撮影開始タイミ ング 220を算出する。
[0040] 以上のようにして、再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeの中間を目的心拍位相 230に 合わせて求めた撮影開始タイミング 220を決定する。この際、直前の修正基準点であ る心拍 209をトリガーとして、(式 1)で求める撮影開始準備時間 PrepSt経過後に曝射 が開始されるように、図 1の測定制御装置 11が動作する。
[0041] 以上の処理により突発的な心拍動が発生した場合にも、正しいタイミングで撮影を 開始することができる。
[0042] 以上、ステップ S104の詳細について説明した力 また図 6に戻りステップ S105以 下を説明する。ステップ S 105では、測定制御装置 11によって、ステップ S 104で算 出し、予測した基準点の計測時刻 202と撮影開始準備時間 PrepStを基に X線の曝射 やテーブル移動等、撮影に必要な各部の動作を開始させると共に撮影が開始される
[0043] 撮影開始後撮影と並行して、ステップ S106、 S107では、先に説明したステップ S1 02, S103と同様に、ステップ S108における撮影終了タイミングの算出に必要な心 電波形のモニタリングおよびそれに基づく心拍周期の算出を行う。
[0044] ステップ S108では、図 1に示した撮影タイミング算出手段 14がステップ S107で計 測された心拍周期を基に撮影終了タイミングを算出する。以下、撮影終了タイミング 4 30の算出方法について図 10乃至 12を参照して説明する。
[0045] 図 10は本発明の一実施例による心電波形の R波の位相(R—R 100%)に同期し た撮影終了〈X線 OFF〉のタイミング決定を説明する図で、横軸に時間を取って、心 電計 6によって計測される心電波形 20を示し、心電波形 20の下の帯には X線曝射の 有無を示したものである。図中、 Monitorは撮影中のモニタリングを、 PrepEdは撮影終 了準備時間を、 ReconTimeは再構成必須撮影時間を、 401は X線曝射中にモニター された心拍を R波の頂点として捕らえられ、予測された撮影終了の基準点、即ち撮影 終了準備開始始点を、 410は、撮影に先立って設定されたコリメータ 9によって制限 された X線の照射範囲、回転環スキャナ 8の回転速度、テーブルの移動速度および 撮影対象の心臓の撮影範囲に基づいて事前にタイミング算出部 14で算出された撮 影終了予定タイミング、 402は目的心拍位相 420でもある X線曝射終了直前にモ- タリングされる心拍の R波の頂点を、 430は撮影終了タイミングをそれぞれ示す。
[0046] ステップ S108では、まず S 101で設定した撮影範囲の画像再構成に必要な撮影 データの収集が終了する時刻を撮影終了予定タイミング 410として取り込む。この撮 影終了予定タイミング 410は、丁度 X線検出器 4が撮影範囲の最終スライス面を撮影 し終わる時点であり、目的心拍位置に基づく心電の同期のスキャンを考慮しない通 常の画像再構成に必要な撮影範囲である。
[0047] そこで、撮影終了予定タイミング 410以降の目的心拍位相において検出器が最終 スライス位置を撮影するために必要な時間を算出する。このため、心電波形のモニタ リング Monitorにより、撮影終了タイミング 430の基準となる撮影終了準備基準点タイミ ング 401を予測、算出し、これに撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdを加算して撮影終了タイミ ング 430とする。
[0048] 撮影終了準備基準点タイミング 401から、 X線曝射終了までの時間間隔を撮影終 了準備時間 PrepEdとすると、撮影終了準備時間は以下の (式 4)で算出される。
PrepEd =しじ水 ReconPhase + ReconTime/ 2
PrepEd : 撮影終了準備時間
CC : 1心拍周期
ReconPhase : 目的心拍位相(ここでは 1.0)
ReconTime : 再構成必須撮影時間
[0049] 上記の(式 4)中の撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdは、隣接する R波間のすべての心拍 位相の撮影データを再構成する場合の撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdを算出する際にも 当てはまる。しかし、再構成する心拍位相が撮影時に予め決まっている場合は、 Reco nTimeを調整することで、さらに撮影終了タイミング 430を早め、被曝の低減を図るこ とが可能である。
[0050] 次に図 11を参照して、隣接する R波の間の即ち R波の頂点以外の目的心拍位相 4 20での撮影終了タイミング 430の算出方法について説明する。
[0051] 具体的には図 11は本発明の一実施例による心電波形 R—R 70%の位相に同期 した撮影終了のタイミング決定を説明する図である。
[0052] まず、ステップ S 108では、ステップ S107で求めた 1心拍周期を基に、予測された 撮影終了基準点 401から目的心拍位相 420までの時間 PhaseTimeを以下の(式 5)で 算出する。

ReconPhase: 目的心拍位相(ここでは 0.7)
[0053] 再構成必須撮影時間 ReconTimeの半値を PhaseTimeに付カ卩している理由は、図 7 に関して撮影開始タイミングについて説明したように、周期運動部位の撮影データを 再構成する場合、画像の再構成に用いる撮影データの中央位置が目的の心拍位相 になるように撮影データの取り込みの範囲を設定するためである。言い換えれば、目 的心拍位相の心電波形上の一点と撮影データの中央部を一致させて撮影データを 選択し、これを再構成すると、目的心拍位相の画質が最良化されるからである。
[0054] 以上より、基準点 401に加算する撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdは、以下の式で算出さ れる。

PhaseTime: 基準点から目的心拍位相までの時間
ReconTime : 再構成必須撮影時間 なお、撮影終了予定タイミング 410は、図 10において説明したと同様に X線検出器 4が撮影範囲の最終スライス面を撮影し終わる時点であり、目的心拍位相に基づく心 電同期スキャンを考慮しない通常の画像再構成に必要な撮影範囲である。従って、 撮影終了タイミング 430が撮影終了予定タイミング 410より後の時点で生じていれば よい。
[0056] 次に、図 12を参照して、撮影中、心電波形に不整脈が現れた場合の撮影終了タイ ミング 430の算出方法について説明する。図 12は、 R波の頂点が目的心拍位相とな る場合において、不整脈により撮影終了タイミングの算出が図 10の方法ではできな い場合についての修正変更方法を示している。この場合、撮影終了準備時間 PrepE dに誤差が生じ、正 、タイミングで撮影を終了することができな!/、。
[0057] そこで以下のような修正変更を加える。基準点を基に、撮影終了準備時間 PrepEd を求めるまでは図 10におけると同じである。図 12の場合は、さらに、目的心拍位置 4 20でもある基準点 402が計測されるまでの期間に突発的な心拍動の発生の有無を、 図 1の心電計 6にてモニターする。突発的な心拍動の発生が確認された場合は、発 生後の基準点 405を修正基準点として再度、撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdを算出する 。以上の処理により突発的な心拍動が発生した場合にも、正しい撮影終了タイミング 430で撮影を終了することができる。
[0058] ステップ S109では、測定制御装置 11は S108の結果として求められた撮影終了タ イミング 430が到来したら、 X線の曝射を停止する。また、同じくステップ S108で求め た基準点 401の計測時刻と撮影終了準備時間 PrepEdを基に、テーブル移動停止な どの撮影停止に必要な各部の動作を開始する。
[0059] ステップ S110では、ステップ S106以降で心電計 6によってモニタリングされた目的 心拍位相に同期して取得された撮影データの再構成を実施する。
[0060] 以上説明したように、本実施例によれば、それぞれの目的心拍位相に同期して撮 影開始タイミング 220および撮影終了タイミング 430を適切に設定することにより、より 低被曝での撮影が出来、その結果被検体への被曝を低減できると共に撮影前およ び撮影中に不整脈等の非周期運動が現れた場合にも、撮影開始タイミング 220およ び撮影終了タイミング 430に最小限の修正を加えて撮影を継続、終了することが出 来る。
[0061] なお、上記の実施例では周期運動計測装置を心電計とし、心臓を撮影対象として 説明したが、周期運動を行う臓器であれば、上記と同様に本発明を適用することが可 能である。
[0062] 例えば、呼吸センサを用いれば、肺野等の撮影にも適用可能である。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 被検体に照射するための X線源と、
前記被検体を前記 X線源との間に挟んで前記 X線源と対向して配置され前記被検体 の透過 X線を検出する X線検出器と、
前記 X線源と前記 X線検出器を搭載して前記被検体の周囲を回転可能な回転環と、 前記被検体を搭載して被検体の体軸方向への移動可能なテーブルと、 前記 X線検出器によって取得された前記被検体の透過 X線データを基に前記被検 体の周期運動部位の断層画像を作成する画像処理装置と、
前記画像処理装置によって作成された断層画像を表示する表示装置と、 を備えた X線 CT装置であって、
前記被検体にその計測端子が装着され前記被検体の周期運動部位からの周期運 動の波形信号を計測し、その計測された波形信号を前記画像処理装置に入力する 被検体の周期運動計測装置を別に有した X線 CT装置において、
前記周期運動計測装置によって計測された周期運動波形信号に基づき周期運動 部位の運動周期を算出し、その算出された運動周期により周期運動波形信号中の 所望の時点を設定し、その設定された所望時点に基づいて前記周期運動部位に関 して周期運動の目的位相までの計測すべき開始点又は終了点を算出する計測範囲 算出部と、
前記算出された計測すべき開始点又は終了点に基づいて前記 X線源力 の X線 曝射の開始又は終了の少なくとも一方の運動周期を設定し、その設定された運動周 期に対応する X線曝射の開始又は終了の少なくとも一方により、前記 X線源からの X 線の照射、前記 X線検出器での前記撮影データの取得、前記テーブルの移動速度
、および回転環の回転を制御して撮影を実行させる制御部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする X線 CT装置。
[2] 前記計測範囲算出部は、撮影開始に先立って前記周期運動計測装置によって計 測された周期運動波形信号に基づき周期運動部位の運動周期を算出し、周期運動 部位の撮影開始に先立って前記算出された運動周期により周期運動波形信号中の 特徴点が表われる撮影開始目的位相を予測算出し、 前記制御部は、前記予測算出された撮影開始目的位相に基づいて前記 X線源から の X線曝射の開始を設定することを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
[3] 前記計測範囲算出部は、撮影終了に先立って前記周期運動計測装置によって撮 影中に計測した周期運動部位の周期運動を表わす波形信号に基づき周期運動部 位の運動周期を算出し、周期運動部位の撮影終了に先立って前記算出された運動 周期により周期運動波形信号中の特徴点が表われる撮影終了準備基準時点を予測 算出し、この撮影終了準備基準時点に基づいて前記周期運動部位に関して周期運 動の目的位相が表われる所望時点を撮影終了目的時点として予測、算出し、 前記制御装置は前記算出された撮影終了目的位相時点に基づいて前記 X線源カゝら の X線曝射を制御することを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
[4] 前記 X線源力も照射される X線の照射範囲を制限するコリメータを備え、上記計測 範囲算出部は、撮影に先立って設定された前記コリメータによって制限された X線の 照射範囲、前記回転環の回転速度、前記テーブルの移動速度および被検体の体軸 方向の位置によって特定された前記周期運動部位の撮影範囲に基づいて撮影終了 予定時点を算出し、この算出した撮影終了予定時点に先立って周期運動部位の周 期運動を表わす波形信号中の特徴点が表われると予測される時点を前記撮影終了 準備基準時点として選択することを特徴とする請求項 3に記載の X線 CT装置。
[5] 前記計測範囲算出部は、前記予測、算出された撮影開始準備基準時点に対応す る周期運動を表わす波形信号中の特徴点を受け取った後、前記予測、算出した撮 影開始目的位相時点に達する前に前記周期運動計測装置によって非周期運動を 表わす特徴点を有する波形信号を受け取った時にはその非周期運動を表わす特徴 点を撮影開始準備修正基準時点として算出し、この算出された撮影開始準備修正 基準時点に基づいて改めて新しい撮影開始目的位相時点を予測算出することを特 徴とする請求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
[6] 前記計測範囲算出部は、前記予測算出された撮影終了準備基準時点に対応する 周期運動を表わす波形信号中の特徴点を受け取った後、前記予測算出された撮影 終了目的位相時点に達する前に前記周期運動計測装置力 非周期運動を表わす 特徴点を有する波形信号を受け取った時にはその非周期運動を表わす特徴点を撮 影終了準備修正基準時点としてこの撮影終了準備修正基準時点に基づいて改めて 新しい撮影終了目的位相時点を予測算出することを特徴とする請求項 5に記載の X 線 CT装置。
[7] 前記制御部は、前記撮影開始目的位相時点から撮影に先立って設定されたそれ ぞれの撮影データ取込み時間幅の 1/2に相当する時間だけ差し引いた時点力 X 線曝射が開始されるように前記 X線源力ゝらの X線曝射を制御することを特徴とする請 求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
[8] 前記制御部は、前記撮影終了目的位相時点に撮影に先立って設定されたそれぞ れの撮影データ取込み時間幅の 1/2に相当する時間を加えた時点で X線の曝射が 終了するよう前記 X線源を制御することを特徴とする請求項 7に記載の X線 CT装置。
[9] 前記制御部は、前記算出された撮影開始準備基準時点および前記撮影終了準備 基準時点を表わす信号に基づいて前記テーブルの移動および停止を制御すること を特徴とする請求項 2に記載の X線 CT装置。
[10] 前記被検体の周期運動部位は心臓であり、前記周期運動計測装置は心電計であ ることを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
[11] 前記被検体の記周期運動部位は肺であり、前記周期運動計測装置は呼吸センサ であることを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の X線 CT装置。
