Abstract
Un procédé de traitement d'un matériau à base de fibre libérienne comprend le trempage, la cotonisation, effectuée par le traitement éléctro-hydraulique de la fibre se trouvant dans un milieu humide, le décompactage, le séchage, l'essorage, effectué en deux étapes dont la première se fait après le trempage et la deuxième se fait après la cotonisation, et le blanchiment ou lavage qui s'effectue avant le décompactage, ce dernier étant effectué avant le séchage. La cotonisation est effectuée au moyen d'un dispositif qui comprend un bain pour milieu liquide et une chambre d'action électro-hydraulique, montée dans le bain de manière à pouvoir se déplacer le long de ce dernier et se déplacer verticalement en direction de la zone de chargement et de déchargement de fibres, qui se présente comme une calotte orientée par sa partie ouverte vers le fond du bain. Des électrodes sont montées sur le fond du bain. Elles sont installées dans sa partie supérieure et sont connectées au générateur de courants pulsés. L'utilisation de ce procédé permet d'augmenter l'efficacité de traitement des matériaux à base de fibre libérienne.
