Abstract
The present invention relates in general to a new type of construction material thai greatly reduces the time and cost of constructing a house, building or wall by providing a pre-cast concrete wall form block made up of a pair of concrete panel provided with ingenious reinforcing material such as bamboo sticks, a layer of finishing on its outer surface and a number of pre-deleiminedly arranged dowel disposed on the inner rough surface when assembled together creates a space in between that allows the installation of the electrical and plumbing pipes before filling up said space with filling materials such as cement mortar and the like that provides an instant wall without the need for costly finishing and painting jobs afterwards.
Description
SPECIFICATION PRECAST CONCRETE WALL FORM BLOCK
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates generally to pre-cast block but more particularly to a pre-cast concrete wall form block that eliminates the use of the conventional hollow blocks without sacrificing the strength, durability and sturdiness and can be used as retaining wall, party wall, partition wall, load bearing wall, road wall, fire wall, insulation wall, column footings, concrete columns, concrete beams, tie beams, and wall footings wherein the outer surface thereof is made of finished decorated or undecorated material such as tiled, plasticized, enameled, painted or varnished. Eliminating thereby the finishing jobs required when using the conventional ordinary hollow blocks available in the market.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
At present, contractors and builders of homes, buildings and walls ordinarily uses the conventional hollow blocks provided with steel reinforcing bars and a mixture of cement, sand and gravel as the mortar or the bonding material.
This conventional practice entails a lot of man-hour labor for the preparation and reinforcement of the hollow blocks with steel bars, the preparation of the guide that will align the hollow blocks which generally comes in a standard size of one foot per block
and the cumbersome putting of the cement mortar within the openings of the said hollow blocks.
Also, said standard practice in using conventional hollow blocks require a lot of time for the treatment of cement mortar to dry and bond completely before another set of hollow blocks are placed on top of the other that it hampers continuous work which is vital in any construction industry.
Furthermore, the use of the conventional hollow blocks needs time consuming and labor intensive finishing. Not to mention that the finished cement work on the surface of the hollow blocks further need another finishing job such as paining that it tremendously adds and raises the cost of construction.
It is therefore the main object of the present invention to provide a pre-cast concrete wall form block that will provide a solution to the glaring drawbacks apparent and inherent to prior arts. Another object of the present invention is to provide an elegant and cost effective pre-cast concrete wall form block that is provided with a finished outer surface eliminating any finishing job that greatly reduced the construction cost.
Still an object is to provide a sturdy, affordable, easy to install and mass-produced pre-cast concrete wall form block since the reinforcing materials used within the block can be made up of ingenious bamboo sticks or in combination with steel bars, wood sticks or plastic rods thereof.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention will be highly appreciated upon reading the detailed description taken in conjunction with the appended drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 is a perspective view of the present invention for a pre-cast concrete wall from block shown attached to each other provided with space in between.
Figure 2 is another perspective view of the present invention showing the inner unfinished side with spacedly disposed protruding dowels thereof; and
Figure 3 is an enlarged cut portion showing the reinforcing material used within the pre-cast concrete wall from block made up of ingenious bamboo sticks and a dowel attached thereto.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
There is shown in Figure 1, the present invention for a pre-cast concrete wall form block having a generally rectangular body generally designated as reference numeral 10.
Said reference numeral designates same parts throughout for easy understanding.
Said pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 which comprises of a pair of wall panels 11a and lib is provided with a finished outer wall 12a and 12b and a rough unfinished inner wall 13a and 13b. Said pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 is made from a combination of cement, washed sand, crushed gravel, Styrofoam cuttings and water mixed proportionately together and is provided with ingenious bamboo sticks 14 as an affordable reinforcement,
tied and arranged vertically and horizontally to each other within said pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 supporting and providing sturdiness of up to a compressive strength of 2,500. psi.
A number of 1-shaped dowels 15a and a5b made of steel bars are pre- determinedly tied on its lower end to the bamboo sticks 14 placed along the wall panels
11a and lib of the pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 wherein the other end thereof protrudes outside the inner rough surface walls 13a and 13b of said wall panels 11a and lib.
The outer surface walls 12a and 12b of the wall panels 1 Ia and 1 Ib of the pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 is provided with a layer of finished coating 16, providing aesthetic appeal that eliminates any further painting nor finishing jobs.
Said finished coating 16 can be of internal or external finished but preferably of external smooth finish adapted to withstand the harsh weather conditions.
The dowels 15a and 15b of the wall panels 11a and 1 Ib which protrudes from the inner rough surface walls 13a and 13b are attached to each other by any securing means such as wire string, splicing but preferably by welding which can lend a much steadier hold thereof.
Said attachment can vary depending on the users' preference on how wide the space in between the wall panel lla and 1 Ib should be. When said dowels 15a and 15b are securely attached to each other, a space in between the wall panels lla and 1 Ib is provided which makes the pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 ready to use.
The space formed in between the pair of pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 allows work such as installation of electrical wirings and plumbing pipes to be done prior to the pouring of the fillings thereto such as cement, epoxy, resin and other filling materials. The use of the pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 saves lot of construction cost and man hours and makes construction of walls, houses and buildings easy and fast.
Another embodiment of the present invention for a pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 is that the finished outer surface of the panel walls 11a and l ib can be made of a pre-treated ceramic tile, coat pained, or plastered. Another embodiment of the present invention is that the pre-cast concrete wall form block 10 can be made of multi-sided shape or polygons such as square, triangle and the like.
Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail, it should be understood that various changes, substitutions and alterations can be made without departing from spirit and scope of the inventions as defined by the appended claims.
