Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung einer gasdichten Festelektrolytschicht, wobei zunächst eine ungesinterte oder bei Temperaturen unterhalb von 1150 0C vorgesinterte, auf ein Substrat aufgebrachte Elektrolytschicht wenigstens einmal mit einem Zirkonium aufweisenden Fluid infiltriert und getrocknet und ggf . ausgeheizt wird. Die fertig infiltrierte Elektrolytschicht wird bei Temperaturen unterhalb von 1400 0C anschliessend gesintert . Die mit dem erf indungsgemäßen Verfahren herstellbare Elektrolytschicht weist vorteilhaft sehr geringe Leckraten unterhalb von 5*10-5 mbar*1/s*cm2 auf , die bei einem Differenzdruck von 100 mbar mittels Helium-Lecktestapparatur ermittelt werden.
