Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions destinés à moduler les développements d'une plante. Les séquences polynucléotides et des séquences d'acide aminé codant des polypeptides de cytokinine oxydase sont produits. Les séquences peuvent être utilisées dans divers procédés consistant à moduler le développement de racines, à moduler le développement floral, à moduler le développement des feuilles et/ou des pousses, à moduler la dimension et/ou le poids des semences, à moduler la tolérance à des stress abiotiques, à moduler la résistance à des pathogènes. L'invention concerne également des polynucléotides contenant des promoteurs CKX. Ces promoteurs peuvent être utilisés afin de réguler l'expression d'une séquence d'intérêt. L'invention concerne également les plantes transformées, les cellules végétales, les tissus et les semences.
