Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de freinage régénératif pour un véhicule comprenant un moteur à cylindrée variable à la demande, ce moteur étant pourvu de cylindres, d'une batterie et d'une machine électrique qui comporte des modes moteur et générateur. La machine électrique est entraînée de manière sélective par une roue du véhicule. Un boîtier électronique de commande détecte une condition de freinage du véhicule et désactive au moins l'un des cylindres en réponse à la condition de freinage. Ce boîtier électronique de commande fait fonctionner la machine électrique en mode générateur durant la condition de freinage afin de charger la batterie.
