Description

FAUCHEUSE-CONDITIONNEUSE AVEC ROTOR DEMOWER-CONDITIONER WITH ROTOR
CONDITIONNEMENT PERFECTIONNEIMPROVED PACKAGING
Un tel rotor de conditionnement est décrit dans le document US 4,545,188.The present invention relates to the general technical field of agricultural machinery. More specifically, it relates to a forage mower-conditioner comprising a frame carrying a mowing group which comprises a cutting device and a forage treatment device intended to accelerate the drying of the cut product. This processing device comprises a conditioning rotor constituted by: - a support driven in rotation about its longitudinal axis, and - conditioning elements linked to said support so as to come into contact with a cut product, said conditioning elements are distributed on said support in at least one elementary arrangement, in said at least one elementary arrangement, said conditioning elements are arranged in at least four rows, seen along a plane radial to said longitudinal axis, said rows being distributed uniformly over the entire the periphery of said support, moreover in said at least one elementary arrangement, said packaging elements are offset with respect to each other along said longitudinal axis. Such a conditioning rotor is described in document US 4,545,188.
Le balourd initial du rotor estThis type of rotor is used in the agricultural field to accelerate the drying of a cut product, such as grass for example. To do this, the rotor is rotated so that the packaging elements impact the cut product. These impacts facilitate the evaporation of the moisture contained in the plants, resulting in faster drying. The rotational speed of these rotors is commonly of the order of 1000 revolutions per minute. It is therefore necessary that the rotor is well balanced to avoid generating harmful vibrations to the mechanical strength of the rotor and to the comfort of the user. The initial unbalance of a rotor comes on the one hand from the geometric tolerances on the parts constituting the rotor, and on the other hand from the very location of the packaging elements on the support. In some cases, it turns out that the location rotor. In the current manufacturing process, there is therefore provided a balancing operation consisting in bringing the unbalance of the rotor back to acceptable values. The object of the present invention is to reduce, or even eliminate, the unbalance generated by the location of the packaging elements on the support. To this end, the conditioning rotor of the mower-conditioner according to the present invention is characterized in that said at least one elementary arrangement comprises 23 lines, W being even, and said at least one elementary arrangement consists of: first half-arrangement of 2W conditioning elements, seen along said radial plane, said 23V conditioning elements are distributed uniformly over the entire periphery of said support, and - of a second half-arrangement of 25V conditioning elements, said second half-arrangement being obtained by a rotation of 180 degrees of said first half-arrangement around said longitudinal axis and by a translation along said longitudinal axis. According to a variant, the conditioning rotor of the mower-conditioner according to the present invention is characterized in that said at least one elementary arrangement comprises 2 rows, 5V being odd, and said at least one elementary arrangement consists of: first half-arrangement of W conditioning elements, seen along said radial plane, said W conditioning elements are distributed uniformly over the entire periphery of said support, and - a second half-arrangement of conditioning elements, said second half arrangement being obtained by a 180 degree rotation of said first half arrangement relative to said longitudinal axis and by translation along said longitudinal axis. Thus the imbalance generated by the location of the packaging elements is greatly reduced, or even zero. The initial unbalance of the rotor is
The balancing operation of the rotor is therefore no longer necessary. The manufacture of a rotor according to the present invention is therefore faster and less expensive. Other characteristics of the invention, to be considered separately or in all their possible combinations, will appear further in the following description of nonlimiting exemplary embodiments of the invention shown in the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows, side view, an agricultural mower according to the present invention, - Figure 2 shows, side view and on another scale, a section of the mower group of the mower visible in Figure 1, - Figure 3 shows a first example arrangement of the conditioning elements on the rotor support, - Figure 4 shows a second example of arrangement of the conditioning elements on the rotor support, - Figure 5 shows a third example of arrangement of the conditioning elements on the support of the rotor. Figure 1 shows, seen from the side, an agricultural machine according to the present invention, and more specifically a mower-conditioner (1). Said mower-conditioner (1) is coupled to a motor vehicle (2) which pulls it in a direction and a direction of advance represented by the arrow (3). In the following description, the following concepts "front" and "rear", "front" and "behind" are defined with respect to the direction of advance (3) and the concepts "right" and "left" are defined in looking at said mower (1) from the rear in the forward direction
In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, said mower-conditioner (1) is of the trailed type. It therefore more precisely comprises a chassis (4), a drawbar (6) and a mowing group (7). Said frame (4) rests on the ground by means of two wheels (5). In addition, said chassis (4) is connected to the rear of said motor vehicle (2) by means of a drawbar (6). In a known manner, said drawbar work and transport position. For its part, said mowing group (7) is linked to said chassis (4) by means of a suspension device. Said suspension device advantageously allows said mowing group (7) to follow the unevenness of the ground mdépenci rnment of the position of said frame (4). Said suspension device makes it possible, in addition, to transfer, during work, part of the weight of said mowing unit (7) to said chassis (4). Such a suspension device is known to those skilled in the art, so it will not be described further. Said mowing group (7) is intended, during work, to cut a standing product such as grass for example. To this end and in the light of FIG. 2, said mowing group (7) comprises a cutting device (8) and a forage treatment device (9). In the embodiment shown in Figure 2, said cutting device (8) comprises several cutting members (10) arranged side by side along a line transverse to said direction of advance (3). Each cutting member (10) advantageously supports two cutting elements (11) also called knives. During work, said cutting members (10) are rotated about a respective substantially vertical axis. Said cutting elements (11) then describe circles in a substantially horizontal plane. The relatively high speed of movement of said cutting elements (11), due essentially to the rotation of said cutting members (10), makes it possible to cut the product on the stand and to drive the cut product backwards. Such a cutting device (8) is known to those skilled in the art, it will therefore not be described further. For its part, said fodder treatment device (9) is intended to accelerate the drying of the product cut by said cutting device (8). To do this, said forage treatment device (9) comprises a rotor (12) disposed behind said cutting device (8). Said rotor (12) in turn comprises a support (14) and conditioning elements (15). During work, said support (14) is rotated about its longitudinal axis (14a), said longitudinal axis (14a) being substantially horizontal and transverse to said direction of advance (3). Said conditioning elements (15) are in turn connected to said support (14) so as to extend in a substantially radial direction by Figure 2, said packaging elements (15) are advantageously pivotally connected to said support (14) by means of a respective articulation (16) with an axis substantially parallel to said longitudinal axis (14a) of said support (14). In the event of an impact with an obstacle, said packaging elements (15) can thus slip away, any risk of damage is then avoided. According to another embodiment not shown, said packaging elements (15) are rigidly connected to said support (14). During work, said packaging elements (15) come into contact with the cut product. Preferably, said packaging elements (15) then take the cut product along a packaging sheet (13) before ejecting it at the rear of said mowing group (7). In a manner known to a person skilled in the art, the impact of the packaging elements (15) and the passage along said packaging sheet (13) causes fragmentation of the cut product which is conducive to rapid drying of this product. latest. In a manner also known to those skilled in the art, said mower-conditioner (1) comprises in addition transmission elements intended to transmit a rotational movement from a power take-off from said motor vehicle (2) to to said cutting elements (10) and to said rotor (12). Figures 3 to 5 show three examples of rotor (12) according to the present invention. In these figures, the periphery of said support (14) has been shown flat so as to better distinguish the arrangement of said packaging elements (15) on said support (14). More specifically, Figures 3 and 4 each show an example of an elementary arrangement of said packaging elements (15) on said support (14). Said rotor (12) according to the present invention may comprise a single elementary arrangement. In this case, Figures 3 and 4 show said rotor (12) as a whole. However, said rotor (12) according to the present invention may also include several identical elementary arrangements, distributed along said longitudinal axis (14a). Figures 3 and 4 then represent a portion of said rotor (12). For its part, FIG. 5 represents another example where said rotor (12) this time comprises different elementary arrangements. In an elementary arrangement, said conditioning elements (15) are distributed in at least four rows (18). Viewed along a plane radial to said longitudinal axis (14a), said rows (18) are distributed uniformly over the entire periphery of said support (14). In the embodiment shown in Figure 2, said packaging elements (15) are arranged more precisely in eight rows (18). The angular difference between each row
(18) is therefore 45 degrees here. Said rows (18) extend in a direction parallel to said longitudinal axis (14a) of said support (14). In an elementary arrangement, said conditioning elements (15) are additionally offset with respect to each other along said longitudinal axis (14a). Thus during the rotation of said rotor (12), one never finds two conditioning elements (15) exactly in the extension of one another. Without departing from the scope of the present invention, the value of the offset may be less than the width of a conditioning element (15) so as to have a partial overlap of said conditioning elements (15). According to an important characteristic of the present invention, said elementary arrangement comprises 25V rows, 5V being even, and said elementary arrangement consists of: - a first half-arrangement of 25 conditioning elements (15), seen along said radial plane, said 25V conditioning elements (15) are distributed uniformly over the entire periphery of said support (14), and - a second half-arrangement of 25V conditioning elements (15), said second half-arrangement being obtained by a 180 degree rotation of said first half-arrangement around said longitudinal axis (14a), and by a translation along said longitudinal axis (14a). According to a variant of the present invention, said elementary arrangement comprises 25V rows, 5V being odd, and said elementary arrangement consists of: - a first half-arrangement of 5V conditioning elements (15), seen along said radial nlan, said 5V conditioning elements Cl 5) are distributed uniformly over the entire periphery of said support (14), and - a second half-arrangement of 5V conditioning elements (15), said second half-arrangement being obtained by a 180 degree rotation of said first half-arrangement around said longitudinal axis (14a), and by a translation along said longitudinal axis (14a). FIG. 3 represents an example of an elementary arrangement where 5V is even. More precisely, 5V is here equal to two. Said conditioning elements (15) are therefore distributed in four rows (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d), each row (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) being angularly offset by 90 degrees. The four packaging elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) constitute said first half arrangement. Said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) each occupy a respective row (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d). Said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) are therefore distributed uniformly over the 360 degrees of said support (14). In said first half-arrangement, said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) are offset from each other along said longitudinal axis (14a) by a constant offset distance (17). The four packaging elements (15th, 15f, 15g, 15h) constitute said second half-arrangement. The position of said conditioning element (15e) was obtained by pivoting 180 degrees and by translating said conditioning element (15a) along said longitudinal axis (14a). The position of each conditioning element (15f, 15g, 15h) is obtained in a similar manner from the position of a respective conditioning element (15b, 15c, 15d). The translation of said second half-disposition relative to said first half-disposition is carried out over a distance (20). In the example shown in Figure 3, said translation distance (20) corresponds substantially to half of said offset distance (17). The distribution of the eight packaging elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e, 15f, 15g, 15h) constituting this example of elementary arrangement is thus substantially uniform along said longitudinal axis (14a). FIG. 4 represents an example of an elementary arrangement where 5V is odd. More precisely, 5V is here equal to five. Said conditioning elements (15) are therefore distributed over ten rows, each row being angularly offset by 36 degrees. The five packaging elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) constitute said first half-arrangement. Said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) each occupy every other row. Said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) are therefore distributed uniformly over the 360 degrees of said support (14). Said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) are also offset with respect to each other along said longitudinal axis (14a). However in this other example of elementary arrangement, the distance (17) seen along said longitudinal axis (14a) separating two consecutive conditioning elements (15a, 15b; 15b, 15c; 15c, 15d; 15d, 15e) is not constant . Indeed, the offset between said packaging elements (15a, 15b) is, for example, greater here than the offset between said packaging elements (15b, 15c). The five packaging elements (15f, 15g, 15h, 15i, 15d) constitute said second half-arrangement. The position of said conditioning element (15f) was obtained by pivoting 180 degrees and by translating said conditioning element (15a) along said longitudinal axis (14a). The position of each conditioning element (15g, 15h, 15i, 15d) is obtained in a similar manner from the position of a respective conditioning element (15b, 15c, 15d, 15e). In light of FIG. 4, the distribution of said conditioning elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e, 15f, 15g, 15h, 15i, 15j) is not uniform seen along said longitudinal axis (14a). This elementary arrangement allows a greater concentration of conditioning elements (15) in a given area of said rotor (12). Preferably, this given area of said rotor (12) corresponds to the place where the flow of cut product from said cutting device (8) is greater. FIG. 5, on the other hand, represents an example of a rotor (12) in accordance with the present invention where said conditioning elements (15) are distributed in several elementary arrangements. In order to facilitate the description of this 19b, 19c, 19d, 19th, 19f, 19g). Said rotor (12) more precisely comprises four elementary arrangements. The four elementary arrangements each have six rows (18). 5V is therefore odd and its value is three. In addition, said rows (18) of an elementary arrangement are aligned with said rows (18) of the neighboring elementary arrangement. According to another embodiment not shown, said elementary arrangements have a number of rows (18) different from one another. The third section (19c) of said rotor (12) comprises conditioning elements (15) forming a first elementary arrangement. The fifth section (19th) of said rotor (12) comprises conditioning elements (15) forming a second elementary arrangement. Said first elementary arrangement and said second elementary arrangement are similar. For its part, the fourth section (19d) of said rotor (12) comprises conditioning elements (15) forming a third elementary arrangement. The fourth elementary arrangement is however distributed over the second section (19b) and over the sixth section (19f). Indeed, said second section (19b) comprises packaging elements (15) forming the first half-arrangement and said sixth section (19f) comprises packaging elements (15) forming the second half-arrangement. In this exemplary embodiment, said rotor (12) also includes conditioning elements (15) which are not distributed in an elementary arrangement. This is the case of the conditioning elements (15) located in the first section (19a) and in the last section (19g). Preferably, said conditioning elements (15) of the first and second elementary arrangement are different from the conditioning elements (15) of the third and fourth elementary arrangement. In the light of FIG. 2, this difference may appear over the length of said packaging elements (15). Various modifications can be made to the exemplary embodiments which have just been described, in particular as regards the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without however departing from the field of protection as defined by the claims.
