【0 0 3 1】 アナログ信号光は、 微弱な信号まで正確に再現される必要がある にもかがわらず、 従来の光送受信モジュールでは、 アナログ信号光の受信は、' '偏 光方向の不規則な変動に対して特に敏感であった。 このため、 アナログ信号光を デジタル信号光と比べてより高い受信感度で受信できる光送受信モジュールが望 まれている。 本実施形態の光送受信モジュール 1によれば、 1 . 3マイクロメ一 トル (/i m) 帯 (1 2 6 0ナノメートル (n m) 以上 1 3 8 0ナノメートル (n m) 以下) の波長範囲内の送信光 L 1と 1 . 5 5マイクロメートル ( m) 帯 ( 1 4 8 0ナノメートノレ (n m) 以上 1 5 8 0ナノメートル (n m) 以下) の波 長範囲の受信光 L 2とを光加入者系システムにおいて用いることによって、 加入 者装置は、 高い受信感度でアナログ信号光を受信することが可能となる。 ' 【0 0 3 2】 また、 本実施形態による光送受信モジュール 1では、 送信部 2 1 レーザダイオード 2 4を有している。 光送受信モジュール 1においては、 送信光 L 1がフィルタ 4において反射されている。 仮に送信光 L 1の偏光方向が不規則 に変動したとすると、 フィルタ 4表面における送信光 L 1の反射強度が変動して 一定とならず、 この結果、 光送受信モジュール 1の外部へ提供される送信光 L 1 の光強度にゆらぎが生じてしまう。 これに対し、 光送受信モジュール 1はレーザ ダイォード 2 4によって送信光 L 1を生成しているので、 送信部 2は一定の偏光 方向の送信光 L 1を生成することができる。 一定の偏光方向の送信光 L 1は、 フ ィルタ 4によって一定の反射率で反射されるので、 光送受信モジュール 1によれ ば、 送信光 L 1の光強度のゆらぎを抑えることが可能となる。
