Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a medical appliance for lumens, and particularly, to a self-expandable medical appliance (hereinafter, referring to a ⁇ stent') for expanding the lumens of a blood vessel or esophagus in case these are constricted. More particularly, the present invention relates to a stent which can be contracted to a minimum size, is superior in expansibility, is easily bent and is very superior in flexibility.
  • the lumens in a human body may be constricted by diseases occurring in the body and thus their functions are degraded, more seriously, disabled. Abstract
