  • WO 9705799 discloses cases for handling money formed by two semi-cylindrical cradles reinforced with stiffeners. We know from FR-2 057 449 and DE-34 04 486 coin acceptors in which, for ease of counting, the pieces are arranged in spikes, in series shifted alternately to the left and to the right. The same principle is used in EP 1 262 927 for packages formed from two semi-cradles, also having laterally offset series. The same can be true for the tallest parts, which are then pushed in almost 180 ° or more.
  • Another advantage of the packaging of the invention is that its bulk is reduced compared with, in particular, to EP 1 262 927: its width corresponds to that of the packaged parts, and its height is limited by the integration of the crest 18 in the recesses of the cover. It is therefore easier to stack, and it can especially be made from a plastic blank of smaller surface. Productivity will therefore be increased for an identical mold surface. This increased productivity compensates for a difference in cost compared to more expensive polymers, such as PET, APET or PLA. The latter, produced from lactic acid, is largely biodegradable and therefore less polluting for the environment.
