Abstract

溶融ガラスに対する耐食性、耐浸透性、ガラス素地非汚染性に優れ、しかも施工性、耐久性にも優れたガラス槽窯用タンプ材として好適なジルコニア質不定形耐火物の提供を目的とする。 本発明は、ジルコニア粒子(ZrO2換算)70~95質量%と、アルミナ粒子2~12質量%と、結合材1~10質量%と、ガラス分(ジルコニア粒子中にガラス相を含む場合は該ガラス相をこれに含める)2~8質量%とを含む不定形耐火物であり、かつ、該不定形耐火物中にアルミナセメントを実質的に含まないことを特徴とするジルコニア質不定形耐火物を提供する。
