Abstract

L'invention concerne des articles moulés sous forme de meules, trépans, aléseurs, couteaux, lames, etc. comportant une ou des sections centrales qui comprennent une résine moulable présentant une certaine propriété d'intensité, à savoir, rigidité, concentration, etc.; et une couche ou couronne ou section(s) de surface qui comprend une autre résine moulable présentant la même propriété d'intensité, à savoir, rigidité, concentration, etc., de niveau différent; et des articles abrasifs sélectionnés parmi un ou plusieurs des éléments suivants: diamant, nitrure de bore cubique (CBN), alumine, SiC, grenat, et mélanges de ceux-ci. Ces articles sont caractérisés en ce que: a) les résines comprenant les sections sont miscibles et mélangées par diffusion et par convection; b) un rapport de composition des articles abrasifs dans les résines diminue depuis une surface de l'article moulé vers l'intérieur dudit article sur une échelle prenant en compte la taille de la grosseur de l'abrasif et la taille de l'article; et c) les résines comprenant les sections sont miscibles et mélangées par diffusion.
