具体的には、 マグネシウム合金の耐熱性向上の手法として、 (1) 高 温強度に優れたセラミックス繊維や粒子で強化する複合強化マグネシゥ ム (例えば、 H. F e r k e l a n d B. L. Mo r d i k e、 " Ma g n e s i um s t r e n g t h e n e d b y S i C n a n o p a r t i c l e s " 、 Ma t e r . S c i . En . A、 Vo l . S c i . En g. A、 Vo l .
更に、 (3) シリコンやカルシウム、 希土類金属等を構成元素とする 高温で安定な析出物を析出させ強化する析出強化マグネシウム (例えば 、 M. Ma b u c h i a n d K. H i g a s h i ^ " S t r e n g t h e n i n g ma c h a n i sm o f Mg— S i a l l o y " 、 Ac t a. Ma t e r. 、 Vo l . 44 ( 1 9 96) 、 p p. 46 1 1—46 1 8.

AZ 9 1 (Mg - 9ma s s % A 1— 1 m a s s % Z n— 0. 3 m a s s %M n ) や AM 60 (M g- 6ma s s %A l - 0. 3 m a s s %Mn)
F i s h e r、 Fu n d e rme n t a l s o f S o l i d i f i c a t i o n, T r a n s T e c h Pu b l i c a t i o n s L t d> Sw i t z e r l a n d > 1 98 9、 p p. 63— 92. ) 。
