Abstract

L'invention concerne une tête d'application de revêtement (3) comprenant une première moitié (1) et une seconde moitié (2), adjacente à la première, entre lesquelles est formée une fente (4) présentant une longueur L et une largeur B, cette dernière étant à angle droit par rapport à la longueur L. La fente (4) est reliée à une chambre à peinture (5) formée au moins dans une des deux moitiés de tête d'application de revêtement (1, 2). Cette chambre à peinture (5) sert à l'introduction d'une matière de revêtement qui doit être déposée, à travers la fente (4) et une buse (6) représentant l'extrémité de la fente côté extérieur, sur le support à recouvrir (12). La chambre à peinture (5) est pourvue d'au moins une protubérance (7) se rétrécissant vers le haut qui débouche dans une ouverture d'aération (8). L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de la tête d'application de revêtement représentée ainsi qu'un procédé d'application de revêtement selon lequel on utilise cette tête d'application de revêtement.
