La brossette dentaire décrite dans cette invention comprend une éponge de nettoyage dentaire reliée à une tige de déplacement d'une brossette dentaire électrique ou à une section support d'une brossette dentaire manuelle. L'éponge de nettoyage est conçue de telle sorte que l'éponge (substance poreuse continue), telle que de la cellulose naturelle, du caoutchouc naturel, du caoutchouc synthétique ou de la résine synthétique, présentant diverses formes et une compressibilité élevée, est collée ou soudée au pourtour de la pointe de la section tige en résine ou en métal présentant une élasticité, une capacité de mémoire de forme et une souplesse adéquates.
