Since this problem has long been recognized, several very aggressive cleaning agents are known from the prior art, so-called drain-free cleaners, which should make the removal of a drain pipe deposit easy and feasible for everyone. In practice, these cleaners have had limited success.On the one hand, when they work, a heat is developed which, in conjunction with very aggressive acid, should dissolve the clogging particles are to be renewed. Another side effect is that after such “cleaning”, the next deposit of such a drain pipe takes place more quickly, since the otherwise smooth inner walls of the drain pipe are porous and less slippery and thus promote the deposition of the dirt particles. Furthermore, these cleaning agents, even after their use, are still very polluting for the environment and for this reason alone are not used by environmentally conscious people.
