Description

TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a device for automatically rinsing water pipes according to the preamble of claim 1.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

If water pipes are not used for a longer period of time, for example for several days or weeks, the water can be contaminated due to physical, chemical and biological processes. For example, the multiplication of Pseudomonas or other bacteria in the drinking water of pipe systems is known. The problem of contamination is particularly in buildings that are not used for a long time. During this time, the water in the pipes stagnates. This can be the case, for example, in schools, universities, hotels, barracks, stadiums and the like.

Contamination of the water through stagnation can be avoided by regularly rinsing the water supply system with a so-called hygiene flush. For example, the taps of the pipe system can be opened and closed periodically by one person. Since this is comparatively time-consuming and corresponding personnel are required, devices have also been proposed with which line systems can be automatically flushed by means of a control.

The DE 20 2014 008946 U1 discloses a device with a siphon, in which a bell element is inserted unsecured.

From the pamphlets GB 2 478 124 and EP 1 964 983 devices have become known in the same or similar technical field. A disadvantage of these publications is the formation of the siphon, which is not permanent.

BESCHREIBUNG BEVORZUGTER AUSFÜHRUNGSFORMENDESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In the Figure 1 is a perspective view of a flushing device 1 for automatic Flushing water pipes shown.

Des Weiteren dient die Abflussgehäuseeinheit 7 bevorzugt der mechanischen Lagerung der Ventileinheit 2.The flushing device 1 comprises a valve unit 2 and a drain housing unit 7. The valve unit 2 is in use connected to the end of a water pipe, so that the water pipe can be emptied in a controlled manner. This means that the valve unit 2 essentially serves to control the water outflow from the water line connected to the flushing device 1. The drain housing unit 7 essentially serves to discharge the water into a waste water line and essentially provides the fluidic link between the waste water line and the valve unit 2. Furthermore, the drain housing unit 7 is preferably used for the mechanical mounting of the valve unit 2.

Based on Figures 1 to 3 An embodiment of the rinsing device 1 according to the present invention will now be explained in more detail.

The valve unit 2 comprises an inlet connection 3 for connection to the water line, an outlet connection 4, a valve arranged between the inlet connection 3 and the outlet connection 4 and a valve control 6. As already mentioned, the inlet connection 3 is firmly connected to the end of a water line. The water then flows from the inlet nozzle 3 to the outlet nozzle 4 when the valve 5 is open. When the valve is closed, the connection between inlet connector 3 and outlet connector 4 is blocked and no water can be drained from the water pipe.

Das Wasser verlässt sodann die Abflussgehäuseeinheit 7 nach Passieren des Geruchsverschlusses 8 der Abflussgehäuseeinheit 7.The drain housing unit 7 is connected to the valve unit 2 and comprises an odor trap 8. The drain housing unit 7 can be connected to a sewage network. The odor trap 8 prevents odors from the sewage network from penetrating into the room in which the drain housing unit 7 is mounted. The outlet connector 4 projects into the drain housing unit 7 and releases the water into the drain housing unit 7. The water then leaves the drain housing unit 7 after passing the odor trap 8 of the drain housing unit 7.

The drain housing unit 7 comprises an upper housing part 9 and a lower housing part 10. Upper housing part 9 and lower housing part 10 are preferably formed separately from one another and can be connected to each other. In the state of use, the two housing parts 9, 10 are in contact with one another.

In the embodiment shown, the odor trap 8 is integrated on the lower housing part 10. Depending on the training, an integration on the upper housing part 9 would also be conceivable. The integration on one of the housing parts 9, 10 or on the drain housing unit 7 has the advantage that the drain housing unit 7 can be made compact and is easy to manufacture.

In the embodiment shown, the lower housing part 10 has a pipe socket 11. The water can be led away from the drain housing unit 7 via the pipe socket 11. The pipe socket 11 can be connected, for example, to a sewage pipe.

In the embodiment shown, the pipe socket 11 is designed such that the odor trap 8 is at least partially integrated in the pipe socket 11. As a result, the compactness of the drain housing unit 7 can be increased further.

The pipe socket 11 is preferably designed such that it can be shortened to the desired length. This means that the pipe socket 11 is cut to length. For this purpose, the pipe socket 11 in the embodiment shown has a pipe socket extension 31 which can be shortened by means of a saw or a cutting tool. The odor trap 8 is arranged with respect to the pipe socket attachment 31 such that it does not extend into the pipe socket attachment 31. Thus, the shortening of the pipe socket extension 31 is harmless with regard to the function of the odor trap 8.

The odor trap 8 is provided by a pipe 12 leading to the outlet 17 of the pipe socket 11 with a pipe inlet 13 and a bell element 14. The bell element 14 can be put over the inner tube 12. In the embodiment shown, the inner tube 12 extends from a partition wall 32 which extends into the pipe socket 11. The inner ear 12 extends from said partition wall 32 in the installed position upwards and ends opposite the partition wall 32 with said pipe inlet 13. Between the bell element 14, which extends over the The water can reach the pipe inlet 13 of the inner pipe 12 via this passage gap 15 between the inner pipe 12 and the bell element 14, so that it can then flow through the inner pipe 12. An inlet 16 is provided in the lower region, that is to say in the vicinity of the partition wall 32. The water can be led from the inlet 16 to the passage gap 15. The entrance 16 is delimited by the partition wall 32 and the lower end of the bell element 14.

The bell element 14 is a separate part with respect to the inner tube 12 and also with respect to the two housing parts 9, 10 and can simply be put over the inner tube 12 by hand. This makes it easy to clean the odor trap 8.

The bell element 14 further comprises a stop element 18 which projects upwards in the installed position. In the installed position, the stop element 18 which projects upwards is in contact with the upper housing part 9 with a stop surface 19. This ensures that the bell part 14 cannot detach from the inner tube 12 in the installed position and is therefore fixed to the drain housing unit 7. In this respect, the bell element 14 is held securely on the inner tube 12 via this contact between the stop element 18 and the stop surface 19.

The bell element 14 comprises a peripheral side wall 35 which is closed on one side with an end wall 36. In the region of the end wall, a support 13 is arranged on the inside, with which the bell element 14 stands on the inner tube 12, so that water can flow into the tube inlet 13 between the end wall 36 and the end of the inner tube 12.

In the embodiment shown, the inner pipe 12 lies completely within the pipe socket 11. That is, the inner pipe 12 does not extend out of the pipe socket 11. The pipe socket 11 extends, seen in the installed position, below the inner pipe 12 with an inner diameter D11, which inner diameter D11 corresponds at least to the outer diameter D12 of the inner pipe 12 or which, as in the embodiment shown, is larger than the inner diameter D12 of the inner pipe 12. In the shown embodiment defines the inner diameter D11 essentially through the pipe socket attachment 31.

The inner pipe 12 is enclosed by the pipe socket 11 such that an annular gap results between the pipe socket 11 and the inner pipe 12, into which the bell element 14 protrudes.

Of the Figure 3 the connection between the lower housing part 10 and the upper housing part 9 is explained in more detail. The lower housing part 10 and the upper housing part 9 are in contact with one another via a tongue and groove connection 20, 21. The lower housing part 10 can be inserted into the upper housing part 10 in the direction of arrow P. The groove and comb connection 20, 21 preferably further comprises a latching connection with which the lower housing part 9 and the upper housing part 10 can be locked together. The latching connection can also be used on its own, without a tongue and groove connection 20, 21.

The lower housing part 10 and the upper housing part 9 each comprise a rear surface 22 Figure 2 it is shown that the two rear surfaces 22, seen in the installed position, are preferably in a common plane E. The drain housing unit 7 can thus be connected to a flat wall, in which case both the rear surface 22 of the housing part 10 and the rear surface 22 of the housing upper part 9 are in flat contact with the wall. For example, an adhesive tape can lie between the drain housing unit 7 and the wall over the two rear surfaces 22, so that the drain housing unit 7 can be glued to the wall.

The lower housing part 10 and also the upper housing part 9 comprise various fastening points 23 in the embodiments shown. The fastening housing unit 7 can be used to screw the drain housing unit 7 to a wall, for example with a screw or another fastening means.

The drain housing unit 7 comprises, as in FIG Figure 3 shown, a latching receptacle 24. The latching receptacle 24 is arranged on the upper housing part 9 and the valve unit 2 can be connected to the valve unit 2 via the latching receptacle 24. In the embodiment shown, the catch receptacle 24 comprises a receptacle frame 33 in which the valve unit 2 can be snapped into place. In addition, various locking means 34 are arranged in the area of the receiving space 33, which engage in a locking connection with the valve unit 2.

In the embodiment shown, the upper housing part 9 comprises an inlet opening 25 below the receiving space 33. The inlet opening 25 penetrates the wall of the upper housing part 9, so that access to the interior of the drain housing unit can be created. The outlet port 4 extends through the inlet opening 25 into the drain housing unit 7. This stretching can be done in the sectional drawing according to the Figure 2 be recognized well.

In the embodiment shown, the drain housing unit 7 also includes a collecting basin 26 with an overflow edge 27. The outlet connection 4 of the valve unit 2 is directed into the collecting basin 26. The outlet connection 4 releases water into the collecting basin 26, from where it can then be supplied to the pipe connection 11 via the odor trap. The overflow edge 27 provides an overflow from the catch basin 26, so that if the odor trap 8 becomes blocked, the water can run out of the drain housing 7.

The outlet port 4 is seen higher in the installed position than the overflow edge 27. In the Figure 2 this is indicated with the reference symbol X. This ensures that no water can flow back towards the outlet nozzle 4 if the pipe closure 8 is clogged.

As already explained, the pipe socket 11 connects to the collecting basin 26. The collecting basin 26 is part of the lower housing part 10 and the upper housing part 9 essentially covers the collecting basin 26. In particular, the upper housing part 9 covers the overflow edge 27, an intermediate space 28 being provided between the upper housing part 9 and the overflow edge 27, through which space water can be led away from the drain housing unit.

The catch basin 26 is, as in the Figure 3 shown, preferably surrounded by side walls 37. The side walls 37 are covered by the housing upper part 9 when the the two housing parts are connected.
